God bless the very day that Jay Jay Okocha was born. I am very happy that Jay Jay comes from our country – Nigeria. He is a great football legend of the millenum. Yet some enemies of progress in this country still despice him. I humbly suggest that the federal government of this country should find a way to appreciate him and his unquantifiable contributions to the development of soccer in this country in particular and the world ion general. It is my candid opinion that the FG can start from somewhere. The FG can start this by first of all paying back all his hard earned money that were trapped in the then distressed Savana Bank. It is a serious sign of patrotism that Jay Jay was banking with Nigerian Bank instead of with foreign banks like some his fellow professional footballers. Secondly. NFF and the FG SHOULD DISCUSS AND FIND A WAY TO BRING HIM BACK TO THE NATIONAL TEAM either as a PLAYER or as a MEMBER OF THE TECHNICAL CREW. This if done will give our national team a big boost. It is a known fact that the vaccumn that JayJay’s exit created in the national team is yet to be filled till date. I for one, really MISS Jay Jay and I also know that many of his fans out there also MISS him VERY DEARLY. Jay Jay, we love youso very much and pray God to continue to be with you everywhere you go in Jesus name, amen.

And since then the gentleman was abreast with the club and deside to give the young ones chanse by going to retirement. Now we want him back in the national team. we need to learn to always say thank you. THANK U OKOCHA

we are all seeing the diff it makes when a legent leaves the scene.Guys am really saying this to let those who used hard words on jay jay to bury their heads in shame.where are those who called him retired legs? Jay jay would have by now instill his quality and pass on the gift to Mikel as a parting gift and a blessing to carry on. a country that lacks the right people and the right places and visionless men running the only thing that hands Nigeria together saw no sign of what we fo through today. Here in Toronto canada, I almost had heart attack when watching the tunisian game.Jay Jay is the simble of football that we will not find.why are we calling for him to come back? when Mikel and co came back from the holand competition, we called for okocha and others heads to be slugthered. We forgot that continuity is built. Fabregas is playing in the midst of star studded spainish national team so that he will learn the magic and continue when the older ones are gone. This exactly what we needed to do when okocha was there.he was saying this, calling the attention of the mallams that run our football to a known fact that is used in every serious minded country. They failed to understand his english cos the only words the know is hw to rear animals. in turn they exposed him to the media and we are called for him to be crucified without trails. will Jay jay come out now he should be resting.Remember Zidan did come back, but he was still playing with Madrid. we are only calling Jay back to embrace him. he has done well enough for this country. he is a true hero.if he comes back which I will love to see, i will want him to only do it for the love of this country. Not because of the pressure cos he has played everything. Kanu is only playing for the love of the country, we have no respect for our blessed ones. when kanu retires, then we will remember how big the space he occupies is.Now we are calling him names and have forgotten once again how much he has thrown his life on the line to represent his country. Thank God Jay is alive to see those who called him names asking him to come back. for Jay Jay, I will say he continue to venture into other things for him and his family and forever remain blessed.

JJ is dfinately a delight to see playing and a good footballer inded but it is only myopic minded and cynics that would be asking him to come back to super eagles , what is he comming to do in the eagles now ?……….somebody that failled nigeria wofully as a National team captain by not qualify Nigerai for the first time since 1994…….A captain that could not locate where his team mates were in Lodon while preparing for an imporatnt world cup qualifying matches despite d fact of leaving in London for years in this jet-age of communication…….A captain who would only play home martches where people would be claping 4 him but would not show up in an away matches not to talk of playing……A captain that can not for once lead by example….I beg let JJ enjoy his deserved self face-saving retirement . He smartlyy retired to avoid both lashing from the Press and being forcefully retired …If you poeple waere Coach would u allowed such to lead your team again ?……….it is people that are calling 4 his come back that finished Chrstain Chuckwu then when Chwuku decided to exclude him from the team after the show of Shame in London but alas he was forced on him by the poeple who could not understand that wining a game is not only dribbling but collective efforts of every committed players………As for me he should go and learn leadership role 4m people like Oliseh who would jumped himself into filed despite being down with fever the moment he realised his team could fail……..4m Kanu who would come and give leadership support both at home &
Away Matches even if he is injured……..and Drodgba e.tc……in short …he should not even come near Techinical bench not to talk of playing again …..remeber novelty match is difrent ball entirely from real match…….what we need in Eagles now is somebody like Siasia who could install decipline and weep players like Mikel Obis back to line

Nothing compares to GOD. May God 4give us all of our shortcomings.
Jay jay has really paid his dues for Nigeria and its unfortunate that he couldnt crown his illustrious career with the African Footballer of the year award, though some of us believe that he deserved it at least not less than 3 different occasions, but he was denied this on those occasions– no thanks to Issa Hayatou led CAF.

Jay jay for sure was instrumental to the national team, you cannot write of the fact that he has contrbuted greately to nigeria foot ball despite the critisism, but i dont think asking him to come back to the national team as a player is a good enough idea because he is tired, we would rather have him come back as part of the technical crew not even as a major role player in the crew (a coach) but as a mid feild trainer or something else because i dont think he has acquired enough knowledge to coach a team for now. Okocha is sure a legend.

Honestly this is the very first man Nigeria will praise during and after retirement, its good to have somebody like okocha in our mid-field what our coach needs to do is to call back Oruma then Obodo and mikel to hold on to our middle while Rabiu,Ayila,Olofinjana, lukman and osanga should be on stand by incase, the future of our football is bright provided we put the right person in there.so also Amodu should be working with a sound technical manager that can chip in some experience and read game very well so secound half will be a different ball game,Amodu will learn too from him,so also all the pot belly that knows nothing in the glass house should be flushed out and replace them with the likes of Odegbami,Keshi,Owolabi,Adokie,Okocha,Taribo and lot of our past footballers that know their onions, they knows how these thing is been done abroad,i hope the President is aware of all these,we will not be looking and allow all these people to distroy our football in Nigeria.anytime they failed they will be looking for an excuse, lets have a coach and train our boys for about two years and you will see that the result will come out not the fire brigade approach. Amodu did not not have a team now he has used well over 100 players to play qualifying now so is that a coach, any way authority should look into this matter and do something fast about it

Nigeria is gradually loosing its pride of place in football in recent times and calls for a state of emergency. There are talents out there, our coaches should extend their drag nets to the river beds. I would realy appreciate it, if J.J features in one of the remaining matches. If possible, all Nigerian will should foot the bill. Charge all Nigerian N5 apiece, we all will be ready to pay but if the government increase fuel price, with N1, Nigerians will resist it. These are people that make football a joy to watch. When Odegbami dribbles on the touch-line, the stadium stand still, when he scores with those dribbles, everyone is filled with ectasy. Remember Nigeria v Egypt in 1977? or Nigeria v Algeria in 1980? Adokie will mesmerize any defender. Nwankwo kanu was simply immense. But my o my, JJ Okocha was in another plane. Sometimes, opinion counts and sometimes, it does not.
A contrary opinion that Jay jay is not a legend or the best Nigeria has ever produce is not debateable and a contrary opinion is a waste of time. When he was playing for Nigeria, most Nigerians dispised him for his style of football, but little did they know that he was the life wire of the team. until he retired, his vacum became obvious. as the popular saying goes: you dont value wat you have until u loose it.
Jay jay remains the best and a “legend”.
His style of play is unique and his skills is second to non in the world.
If jay were to be a White man, fifa would have given him a unique title, but politic and racism would not allow them do so.

Let Mikel play behind him, osaze at the right, Matins in front ,with kanu to complete the trick. in fact no team will stand the number of chances they will create. But Jay Jay should determine his coming back. The truth is that if he plays with the team, the positive difference will be clear.PLEASE CALL JAY JAY BACK starting with the NATIONS CUP IN ANGOLA. Austine Okocha is a talented footballer with a myopic vision. He played wonderfully for Nigeria and all the minature clubs in Europe. He is our legend and local champion. That was why no big star surfaced during his testimonial match in Warri. He tactically avoided playing in clubs like Ac Milan,Real Madrid,ManU,Barcelona,Inter, infact champion league notable clubs. He ran away from PSG. In England he ruled people like Ricardo Gardner, Ben Harm, Pederson. I wonder what adjective we will use to qualify people like Kanu Nwankwo who robbed shoulder with the likes of Franco Baressi,Marco Simeone, at the age of 18 during the chapions league final of 1995. Okocha was a meastrol in mid field during his playing days but cannot make any headway internationally like Abedi Pele, Platini,Pele, because he didnt lift his game up to that standard. He must pay for his action and love for money and demi god.Local champion

Whilst Okocha was the soul of the national team for a while, to call him the best Nigerian player ever is a heavy exageration. I personally rate players like Finidi George and Emmanuel Ammuneke above Okocha and Kanu. Finidi was way more valuable to that Ajax team that won the Champions League in ’95 to Kanu, who is yet to score a goal in the Nations Cup or World Cup after being in 5 Nations Cup and 2 World Cups. Rashidi Yekini cuz of his goal scoring exploits for Nigeria which has not been matched till date can be called the greatest Nigerian player ever.

never doubted that okocha is the best. Zagallo said it all when Nigeria hosted Brazil to a friendly match in Abuja. he presented a Brazilian No 10 jersey to Okocha and said that he has no doubt whatsoever that Okocha can play in any Brazilian team of any era. Considering the calibre of persons that have worn that No 10 for Brazil, i dare to say that there can be a better recognition and celebration of this genius that is Okocha. Because if he happen to be an European man he would have won many award as a footballer on the earth, but then we give glory to GOD Almighty.
As I normally say, before Nigeria can get someone like Jay Jay it will take a long time. Those who try to emulate him don’t get it right. If not age factor, I would have love to be under him to learn most of his tactics.
finally, I want Okocha in this up-coming World Cup, if at all its didn’t play but to gear our players up.

As much as i like this video, i have my reservations. God of soccer? Why GOD? Nobody can be likened to God. The big letter ‘G’ in writing God is specifically used when you talking about God almighty, the creator of heaven and the universe. I’ve read articles about world class footballers like, Pele, Maradona, Ronado, Messi, Abedi Pele, Gulit etc, I’ve never seen where they used God for them. I love Okcocha, and i respect him so much as a footballer. Please you can use ‘god of soccer for him’, not ‘God’ with big letter ‘G’. Thank you.

I agree with you, Affun John. Westeoff should be called to coach the eagles. No coach has ever raised the kind of team westerof has raised for nigeria.
I really wish this Jay Jay could be allowed or even be begged to play n this world cup. He is still fit. He only needs some work to get back in shape. This current team needs him seriously if they must excel in the world cup.
Even if we do not win the cup. His presence alone is enough threat to any team.
Please come and play for us, Jay Jay. We love u, sir.

You see, there are pople who have truely served this Nation, but this are the paople we don’t know how to appreciate of compensate. If J. J is to be white, i tell you he would have World footballer of the year-no thanks to Hayatu who denied him of African footballer of the year 3 times. When Okacha was still playing for Nigeria, the press will always paint with him bad colours, can you see that the reverse is the case now-by painting J.J then, you were painting yourself. Okacha is highly admired regardless of what you have saidabout him which contributed to his failure to wear African Footballer of the year at no time. That is what you are still doing till date contributing to the problems Nigeria football-Super Falconet that you did not talk about made success. You want to destroy Siasia again abi, that is why you are agitating for him to take over super Eagles-is Coaching or the boys playing. you have ridiculed the committed ones and they have retired what are ones you were praising then doing now. I beg, Okocha may you prosper in every other thing they you do in this land. Very soon they will be calling you to be their guest in the studio-whatch out for them.

I bought dstv because jayjay was playing in the premiership. I never liked football until i was told there was a guy, jayjay, that was so good. So, i watched nigeria-algeria in lagos, in which he scored a free kick. Usually, my job was to prove that someone was not a star, but seeing him play, I knew i was in love with football for the first time. I recorded every match he played after i bought dstv. U can imagine how much pain i felt when he left football. I am not interested in some 20 players pushing the ball around. I want to see something extraordinary, and jayjay was the extra-extraordinary. He did what others could never do, but also with ease. A single dribble, and u must smile!

okocha must play in the remaining two matches to test his ability b4 the nation cup and possibly w/cup
Okocha will make us proud and will be a man to warch but i will want him to be featured in the remaining two matches left for Nigeria to qualify for the Nations Cup and the possible W/cup .
In the first place, I used to wonder why he choosed that time to retire from the national team, he ought to have stayed on a little longer to tutor those kids the basic principles of mordern foothbal.if he comes back then it will be a blessing for Nigeria foothbal and a delight for the watchers of the beautiful game.
Let face a reality of life. Okocha had seen it all & has enjoyed the glamour while it lasted. That hunger, urge & anxiety for success has gone wt the wind. Wt that, u wl be able to enjoy & get d best of Okocha Nigerians are yearning for. Let us look into d future & for new Ilerika, Okala, Odegbami, Chukwu, Muda Lawal, Keshi, Okocha, Rashidi etc for Nigeria.
how do we buy this wonderful vcd or dvd thanks
Jay Jay, we love youso very much and pray God to continue to be with you everywhere you go in Jesus name, amen.
can jay jay comes back?
okocha should come back and fill the gap in the midfield.
PLS HELP ME BEG JAYJAY TO PLAY ONCE MORE FOR THE SUPER EAGLES. MY LITTLE BOY DAVID WANTS TO WATCH HIM. JAYJAY PLS SOS.
yes, Jay-jay as we know is a great player, an icon in Nigeria national team. But then not all of us appreciate that, many at times we say he smiles, unseroius and play with the ball so much.
All football fans in nigeria can never forget the magic performed by Master J J. We appreciate his contribution to nigeria football but we still need u sir with all respect in our Midfield. PLS come to our rescue eventhough is agreed by all that u hav done your best. Remember that Zidane had retired before he was called back for his last world cup. Pls JJ, COME BACK
JJ is dfinately a delight to see playing and a good footballer inded but it is only myopic minded and cynics that would be asking him to come back to super eagles , what is he comming to do in the eagles now ?……….somebody that failled nigeria wofully as a National team captain by not qualify Nigerai for the first time since 1994…….A captain that could not locate where his team mates were in Lodon while preparing for an imporatnt world cup qualifying matches despite d fact of leaving in London for years in this jet-age of communication…….A captain who would only play home martches where people would be claping 4 him but would not show up in an away matches not to talk of playing……A captain that can not for once lead by example….I beg let JJ enjoy his deserved self face-saving retirement .
Hi. why coach amodu did.t call ODIAH for that our defender again, O boy our magic man pa JJ okocha must back pls we need him again pls and pls, michel obi now out, up nigeria.
While I agree that it is good to appreciate and celebrate our heroes, I do not support the Heading above. As a matter of fact, it is the capital G that was used—when they wrote Jay Jay Okocha – God of Soccer, I want to believe this is a mistake and a great one in deed on the part of management of CS.
We wish him the best in his future endeavors…….either as player/coach for this country…….
well if okocha dey comeback make emm remember people of d past even d legend maradona hand don fall see watin dey happen to argentina make okocha no go fall emmself hand ooooh just respect urself carry ur pride dey go remember say nobody false u quite if ur time don pass ee don pass whether u play or not if we go qualify we go qualify whether or not u dey.
The best Man to ever played the game of SOCCER..he tutored Ronaldinho,so many players have learnt 4rm him…..the player that can be compare to him is Maradona but he played his with drugs but my own JAY JAY was born with these natural skills…I will miss u so much JAY JAY cos i wont see u play again n since when u stopped playing i lost interest in super eagles….THE VERY BEST MAN THAT HAS WORE THE NO 10 JESRSY
Nigeria coaches should learn to develop young players and not banking on ready-made hotcakes. Westernhof discovered him, they should also discover their own talents.
who says Jay Jay Okocha is not a legend ?
truelly okocha is a tallented player known all over the world and the best player nigeria has ever produce and he is still better than most of our so called midfielders ,i wish he will come back to render one or two helps .
okocha is a real man
you internet connection is to blame. stop whining.
Amodu did not not have a team now he has used well over 100 players to play qualifying now so is that a coach, any way authority should look into this matter and do something fast about it
the world can never see the likes of okocha. butn unfortunately, the same world did not recognise his talents by not giving him the best footballer of the century. yet i and so many others out there know his immense cotributions to the round leather game. all hail king okocha!.
I Love jay jay with passion. the best news a want to read in soccer, the best player i love to watch in d field of play, the best midfielder, d best ………. my best man but allow him to rest b4 nigerians stat calling him names in disgrace. love u JAY JAY OKOCHA.
I am even short of words cos av never seen any like of okocha, but the only annoying thing in this nigeria is dat we never appreciate wat we av untill we loose it.but for my j.j i will not say he shud cum back and play for nigeria again or av anything 2 do with our national team cos those mouth dat are crying 4 him 2 cum back will at the same time use dat mouth 2 mock him if by unseriousness of the oda player anything goes wrong,4 myself i believe he has done his part let those ones there now write their own name on the stone as okocha did, not in the sand cos if he okocha had written his own on the sand we will not be able remember him now cos the breeze must av blown it away.okocha i love u,i love u watch u,i love ur style of playing football,u are a geniuos,u aare a hero, there is none 2 compare with u in the nigeria football even in the world or maybe we will see one 2 compare with u one day and am very sure dat will be ur blood.av fun okocha………………………..
Jay Jay is a deity not GOD. I think the originator of the subject of our discussion was too hyperbolical. We indeed have missed and would continue to miss J.J. particularly in the mid-field. Please, we will pay if that will make JJ come back. J J, please, heed our call to national service. You too much, we miss you.
well, bros okocha has done and still have to do his own part in NIGERIA FOOTBALL.THANKS
PLS JAY JAY COME BACK TO THE NATIONAL TEAM, WE LOVE TO HAVE YOU BACK.
THANKS 4RM EDET.
I do not believe that Nigeria can ever produce a player like JJ OKOCHA again. After the retirement of the great legend. I have not seen the like of okocha who can change the rythm of the match at any time. It is quite unfortunate. We can groom, the like of Ibrahim Rabiu and the street boys who are determine to play like okocha and place them on okocha revival talent otherwise forget it. Nigeria will continue dwelling in football despite the previous achievement Nigerian had made.

People like mr banjo wole should see the positives in people, i really dont know how long it took you to write all the negative things you wrote about a rare talent like Jay Jay, like it or not, no one has been able to step into his shoes in the present super eagles squad. After all said, i dont think its right for Okocha to come back to our team as a player. He has done his own part already.
pls for the sake of national peace let NFA as the matter of urgency call back jay-jay back to national team, imagin that since the young man left the national team no body to filled his space this is unfortunat if we want to make an impact as far as football is concern in nigeria.jay-jay,i join the millions of nigerians to say pls come bact to our national team and God bless you.jay-jay i love.

I thought we will never have dribbling wizards since the era of “Mathematical” Odegbami and ‘Chief Justice’ Adokiye Amiesimaka. But I was wrong. Ambling along was JJ Okocha, then Nwankwo kanu. JJ Okocha for me was definitely the best football Nigeria has ever produced. But Nigerians, do not be sorrowful. talents go, talents come….Another gem will surface in not too long a future

Okocha is the best player in Nigeria that I have ever see, Let Nigeria try as much as they can to bring Okocha back to national team. the time of free kick, talkless of penity, is Okocha that do magic for Nigeria. Let Nigeria convience Okocha and bring him back to Super Eagle. Kano was before Okocha in national team while his still there, why Nigeria allow Okocha to return back fromSuper Eagle? or is Nigeria not competient enough for him? b/c we supporter tired of disapportment of nowaday Super Eagle
If it is not panadol,it can never be the same thing as panadol.Okocha has no replacement in nigeria football. If it is not Okocha no player that can ever play like him, from now till thy kingdom come.If Okocha should make a return to the national team it will a boost. But his return must come from his heart because he is under presure to come back.
No controvercy j j is real. He is a natural gift and not a made one. Even though i can not advice him to come back to the national team for the sake of younger generation, Nigeria should pray for this type of natural gifts. J J you are grate but you must be born again heaven is real.
okocha is a rare gift that takes time to come by. I;m afraid, it’s going to take our dear country, Nigeria, a long time to find someone like Jay jay in the arena of football game . But permit me to mention name, there is this sports analyst who never believed in Jay Jay. he was always criticizing Jay jay. saying that he was not playing purposeful football, and that Analyst is no other person but mitchel obi of A I T. He is destructive in his criticism. He should go apologize to okocha. thanx
Jay Jay Okocha has printed his name in gold both in Nigeria and the world over as far as football is concerned. He has served his fatherland sincerely whenever he is called upon but to my greatest surprise, Nigerian government has not shown anything about him. At least, they should name a street after him even if the street is situated at Enugu being where they discovered Okocha. With the way the Federal Government is gambling with this boys (Nigerian players) they may suffer the outcome sooner than later. Okocha, you are HERO as far as football is concerned whether they like it or not.
it will be too cruel of nigerian. i dont no w to forget so quickly the impact and contribution of the mercurial midfielder jay jay okocha towards d progres of nigeria football.
Please jay jay come back……………….. , I remember when in italia 90 roger miller was written off as a tired leg he came back and eventually proved to be the motivation behind camerouns success that year , this time Nigeria needs jay jays insipiration to get to the next level. Lets appeal to jay jay to once again put on his soccer boots and make the difference for the country
HEY JJ, I CELEBRATE YA and sincerlyam not expecting to see you in d national team. i support the choices you have made and i want u to know that u are well celebrates. anyways, if u decide to resume on niga football, we’ll welcome u anyday and time. U’RE DA BEST.

I believe no one can be like Jay Jay but the national team is dying in every game will played. pls come back we need u in the team. God will contiune bless ur fruit.
The truth is that nigerians has not had enough of Jay-jay Okocha. How i wished Jay-jay could agree himself to come back to super eagles as a player/assistant coach like great Kalusha buaya.fifteen minutes of every play is enough for us.
NIGERIA SHOULD BY NOW BE COPYING OTHER GREAT FOOTBALL COUNTRY…… THE WHOLE FRANCE WAS SHOUTING AND DISPLAYING BANNER THAT JESUS IS BACK WHEN ZIDANE COME BACK. LET ALL PEOPLE TALKING RUBBISH ABOUT JJ COME AND DEFEND THE REASON WHY THE HIGHLY FOOTBALL MAGICCIAN SHOULD NOT COME BACK. PLS JJ PLS COME BACK AND HAND OVER YOUR MAGIC MIDFIELD KEY TO SOMEONE BEFORE YOU GO FINNALLY. PLS JAY COME AND HELP YOUR FATHERLAND FROM FOOTBALL CRISIS.GEN,MAJOR,COL, YEA’ I GET IT FILD MARSHAL.
greetings to all who surport jay jay or not….i think the man as done is best is not easy to do what he has done good or bad,i believe they are better players in nigeria who can do more than him, for now okocha is not important in the super eagles team or crew we should be talking about how to get a better players about the future! will okocha play for the team forever’,and if God call him today that means is the end of the super eagles?NFA should think well the only man i can tell u we need in the super eagles is westerhoof not old fools and faces like amodu and co…we should leave okocha alone let him enjoy with is family
D great J J,kindly plz cum n hand-over ur magic tactical form to sm one else cos dis is ur fatherland and we need continuity in NAIJA..SO BE A SAVIOR Jay Jay Okocha.
Indeed this is marvelous. One will continue to wander whether it is ball this legend is playing with and if this is real. jay Jay we all love U. We indeed miss U. Ur membership in Mr President technical committee for the qualification for 2010 world cup and our last minute qualification speak volume of ur ability, talent and capability. NFF pls make Jay-Jay part of the Super Eagle technical committee to take our Mid fielders through the act of effective manning of the mid field. Now that we ve finally qualify, we can not afford to mess up at the tournament. Long live Jay Jay, Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria. GOOD PEOPLE, GREAT NATION
OKOCHA IS A FOOL FOR RETIRING, AND I DON’T BLAME HIM CAUSE HE HAS GOTTEN WHAT HE WANT…MORESO, I WOULD LIKE EAGLET TO FILL UP THE SUPER EAGLES AND SEND ALL THOSE FOOL CALLED EAGLET OUT…TO THEIR MAMA VILLA.
FROM DUGBE OF ALAYELUWA!
yes jay jay Nigeria still need u please come back, now that we are qualify for w/c
i believe jay jay knowz wat to do.do we need to beg him before he does dat?????
I don’t think we need more arguement on this issue, even a blind man knows jay jay’s worth on the field.I will be very happy and greatful to pa jay if he can come back and play his own part in the Nations cup/World cup, please jay jay we really need you, there is no replacement for you yet.
I love you jay jay
PLS HELP ME BEG FG NFF TO CALL MY BROS JAY BACK TO PLAY IN NATION CUP AND WORLD CUP PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
who is nigeria’s best player ever? http://www.africaplays.com/forum/topic87.html
WHO say JAY JAY OKOCHA IS NOT A LAGEND.
JaJa is a legend forever
he is one of my best players i have seen and known….just like ziden,kaka,ronaldinho..etc,he is masterful and talented.God bless him,he should be in the world cups and nations cup as well.
Is good but i still prefer PAPILO as best so far in Nigeria because the man is very desperate on his times and he also won allot of silvers and golds. And dat is most relevant stuff on a soccer man crier.
jay jay the best mid fielder the country has ever produced and one of the best the world has ever seen!!! i love this guy.alas, when shall we get a replacement,or someone close to this LEGEND of football….?
as we all know okocha is rare gem how i wish nigeria can just produce another austin jay jay okocha . okocha with all the footmagic with football who dare say jay jay is not a legend. we still need jay jay cos his shoes are not yet filled plz come and contribute ur quota come and do the magic let the young generations who only hears ur name fell ur magic with football pls austin come back we need you and we still love you.
Pls NFF call back Jay Jay Okocha ,so that he can handle the midfield for us at the on coming World Cup .we need him there cos without a player like in the squad look we are no where to go. let Mikel mark for him at the midfield ok. thanks
yes ooooooooooooooooooNFF Please call him back
PLS, let JJ come back, he is our hero, I think if he comes back, he should be able to put the national team in other. We need him so badly in the national team.
Even though they cant let him play, at least he should join the crews to enable him assits the Coach.
We love HIM and I will always love and respect his skills.
who gave him god of soccer?????????????????somebody who never won african best you are calling him god of soccer..hahahaha
As for football, I love everything about Okocha. No doubt he is yet to be replaced in the national team and I would have loved to see him come back to play for us come nations cup and world cup but we should not be selfish, for who knows the raison’detre for his retirement?
Jay Jay Okocha was the best player that Nigeria had ever get,
when it comes to football,jay-jay is very incredible.he has everything in the game, very talented, creative and extra-odinary.i want him to be included in this coming world cup becos there is no creative replacement in that midfield.to come and assist mikel obi.i love jay-jay,he is among the best players in the world,if not the best.
its pains me, despite jay jay is a legend .He was never crowned afrian footballer.
really jay jay has the magical secret of the round leather at his finger tips ,for sure he is a through ambassador as far as football is concern , i wish he will one day be my caoch .
LONG LIVE THE GAME OF FOOTBALL
LONG LIVE MASTER JAY JAY OKOCHA I ADOLPH MY CAP
Please, let JayJayRistically speaking be part of Nations-Cup & World-Cup team for emergency purpose. I really and truly missed the most talented player ever produced by Nigeria. Jay-Jay, please come back.
Can we get Jay Jay magic CD to buy?????
It will be good if they can call Him back.Because we really need Him.
Jay Jay is a great player. He should be part of the Nations Cup PARTY for his experience. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. PLEASE LET AMODU BE. God will see him through with our prayers and determination of the team.
the greatest footballer to ever come out of Africa, the magic man, we will miss you.
Let Amodu or whosoever is taking Nigeria to World cup call up Jay-jay Okocha, because he only can hold the midfield
we need Jay Jay Pkocha back
Jay jay is the best footballer to have come out of Nigeria. He is a legend, we should allow him to rest. He has done more than enouh for this country. The only thing we owe jay jay as a country is to honour him with some incredible awards. Long live the king of football “jay jay”
Jay Jay is a legend, let Nigeria give hime the task of choping for a replacement just like Maradona acknowledge Mercy of Agentina
Jay Jay Okocha. No doubt he is yet to be replaced in the world SOCCER I love everything about Okocha.
simply tghe best , silver wares and footballer of the year has nothing to do with personal skills. if you are lucky to play in a team that wins a championship, whether you participate or not you will receive medal and for footballer of the year , we know the politics. JJ IS THE BEST . NO CONTROVERSY.WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU IN SOUTH AFRICA
Am really happy to have this kind of opportunity to write my comment about this issue. i don’t think is is right for us to bring jay jay back to field cos, he retired a year ago and he has not been playing football so it will be so difficult for him to pick up back is form. he as done a lot for this country so we have to respect him. let’s give him a rest.
un doutbly okocha is one of the best mieldfielder in this century……….
I cant beleive someone (actualy Jay Jay) walked the earth and that he is a nigerian. To me he was the greatest midfielder of the century.Pls how can one get a copy of them? Something for the future to let them know that he played during our time
For God’s sake, this legend(Okocha) is the only remedy for the Nigerian midfield problem for now.we should thank God that he is still argile to at least play and distinguish himself with the likes of Mikel and co. Let us try to come out of our shell and don’t be shy of truth.Let us try his fitness and see if he can fit into his former space.THE NATIONS/WORLD CUPS ARE CLOSE AT HAND.THE EARLIER THE BETTER ELSE I WILL GO TO SUPPORT IVORY COAST.
Jay Jay your position as not been filled enough we need you in the nations cup. Most especially in the greatest event “The World Cup”.
okocha…okocha..,what as he achieved 4 nigeria,he is just a ball jogger not a ball player,he captain the national team no silver medal in his tenure,no world cup, ticket.in the history of nigeria footballer who rise to the higest top in football,he is the only player without making inpact to national medal;no african footballer awards,no champions league medal,no league title medal, etc.as 4 me the only legend we hv in nigeria is Kanu nwankwo who is the most decoratedplayers in africa history & in the premiership up till date;champions league, dutch league, italian league, premiership, olympic, african footballer of the year(twice).he gave us the world cup ticket.least i forget,he also hv the F.A. cup in his kitty,he is nigeria God of soccer.
OKOCHA SHD REST
AND ALLOW HIS PIKIN TOCONTINUE
it’s better to leave when the ovation is loudest
J.J is truly the best. He is a legend. Instead of asking him to come back to the pitch, he should be appeal to train other young footballers. This will help us retain the likes of J.J in our national team. Thank You
Jay Jay Okocha is a legend. I will be very happy if NFF allow in to come to pitch for South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup. I believe so much in him.
never doubted that okocha is the best. Nigeria attained its greatest height in soccer during the reign of his majesty, need we say more?
replying francis ekureku: how many goals did he score for nigeria? kanu cannot even score a freekick either for club or country. he was just lucky to be in good teams, no team was ever built around kanu like bolton and the national team was built round okocha. kanu is still active, yet we are not missing him. okocha’s not being in winning team is no fault of his, it is fate. that vandarrama did not win medals did not mean that he was not amongst the greats of the game. the race is not for the swiftest, buy time and chance. okocha is the greatest.

A talented man is batter than many teachers. If Jay Jay is still under 17, the would have been alot to gain. He is one in a million. The legend that diserve the world best throughout his carrer. King Jay, merci bien!
Jay Jay, i remember and i know you will too what our coach do tell us those days that football is not a profession, but an art that lasts as long as the strengh of the legs can carry the body. You are good and a master of the game right from home, it was not learnt but from God, so nobody can take it away from you. Now that you are not actively displaying your God give skills, NFF, NFA and other soccer academies should involve you or you involve youself in grassroot hunt for football talents, so that from them you can complete what your ambition as i strongly know that you left the stage when the ovation was still loudest. “You are too much no doubt about that” Long live.

How i wish jay-jay is an Oyinbo man he would have been World best two times, but thank God is a Nigeria in which am happy about……… Tell Amodu if he will be allow to take the team to the world Cup after the Nations cup that, Okocha must be a in the team. Long live Nigeria, Long live Complete Sport and Happy New Year to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!
3 GBOSAS 4 THE KING OF SOCCER ,U’RE TRULY A GEM
THIS MAN DEY MAKE ME SHOUUUUT! HE WAS SIMPLY TOOOO MUCHHHHHHHH. BUT GOD IN HIS INFINATE MERCIES HAS BLESSED US WITH ANOTHER JAY JAY. IN THE PERSON OF RABIU IBRAHIM. WILL AMODOU RECOGNIZE THAT? ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
He remains the best and pls nobody should wear that no 10 jersey until we have a replacement. Its a shame watching players who cant make us happy wear that jersey number. God bless CS you brot smiles to my face watching Jay-Jay who was so good they named him twice.
God bless you jay-jay for bringing smiles to our face.
he is a legend.let them give him a chance to play again. but i dont like this calling him a God of soccer, anyway i know that he is better than ronaldo, ronaldihno, messi e.t.c he is a king of soccer.he plays with confidence unlike mikel that when he is pushed a little when he is close to the box he rolls to the box to get a penalty kick.
happy new year jay jay and every one
GOD BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS U JAY JAY U MADE US PROUD.

Pa Jay Jay, you are good in attacking medfielder, Mikel that wwe hope to be in ur shoes are disgracing the nation. The absent create a vacuum in national team. Jay please train someone personally to fit in ur shoe because we are looking forward for this amzement, exciting dribbling like you.
Jayjay simply remains the BEST 9ja ever had,i pray we get to c some1 better or relatively close to him in soccer playing in the national team soon.

JAJ JAY IS A GREAT PLAYER
It will be very had to have a playerlike Austine “Jay Jay” Okocha in the Super Eagles because the type of Coach and administrator we have in Nigeria are such a useless and unproductive one that they only depend on finished product forgoting that all this players had their root in the Local League. I will be very happy to see some of our Local Players been given an opprotunity in The Super Eagles so that there can be competition. Our Coaches and Administrator should take a clue from the like s of Ghana, Ivory Coast and the rest. Thank you.

Jay Jay is a true LEGEND that we are never going to forget in the history of football in Nigeria and the whole World. I wish we have another Jay jay in Nigeria.
It,s a fact that can’t be denied by any jealous coach like Sam Allardyce, that our great player who Nigerians worships when it comes to football is not good enough for a club like Bolton and even Hull city that he helped from championship to premier league. Nigerian should learn to praise there players(the media most especially).
jeay jay okocha stil has a lot ot things to offer super eagle take it or not
Please JayJay should be included in the forth coming World Cup. Let him start training ahead of it because there have not been a replacement for him. No other midfielder has played better-of than the mathematical JayJay. I believe he will unquestionably do us proud if he plays for Nigerian just one more time.JayJay I bow 4u.
please Mr. Jay Jay, we will like to have you back play with super eagle, because we your fans want to watch you play for super eagle more, even when we see you at the mild field our mind is cool please mikel can not play you wing because mikel is not feet to play that wing please i will like you to come and hold the mild field for us please dont let us down because you promise of play with the super eagle, you said if they could try and qualify for the world cup that you will go with them please do as you said, then remember that you promise all the nigerians please fufil your promise, because promise is a dept Jay Jay you are too much.
jj is incredible and outstanding his exit from the nigeria super eargles is what we are still suffering till this present day he is a legend in the nigeria football
Without okocha nigerian can’t make it
nigerian need okocha king of soccer, we should please plead to okocha to return and play for his country we seriously need him at this moment before the w/cup. they should feature him in this africa cup of nation.
Without Okocha Flying Eagles will surely turn to Crawling Eagles, i mean my words because we are not making it at all. just of recent record has just be broken, by 3-1 not even 1-0 what a disgrace. For the Eagles to fly they need another extraordinary wings to enable them fly that is J.J. Okocha A.K.A King of succer.
OKOCHA is the God of soccer in nigeria
OKOCHA PLEASE BE BACK.SO THAT YOU CAN BOOST THEM UP.I LOVE YOU PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE US.VICTOR………….08061165625
Truely you are the HERO IN FOOTBALL, we really miss you in present nations cup
three words
SIMPLY THE BEST
i will be very angry if nigeria comes home without anything n i wont watch nigeria match take Jay Jay Okocha olong with them in the world cup bcause he his on nigeria midfieder that i can see that is capable for the post. eneramo must go too
PLEASE …… MY JAY JAY DO COME BACK AND SAVE US FROM THIS MISERABLE TEAM WE HAVE NOW ………… WE NEED YOU MOST JUST TO UPGRADE SOME PLAYER TO FIT THE POST …PLEASE JAY JAY WE LOVE YOU AND LOVE YOU SKILLS .. YOU ARE THE BEST
The Saying that ” A tree can not make a Forest” is not absolutely true! A midfielder like Jay Jay
can dictate the strenght of a Team. If it is possible to turn the hand of the clock back, then JayJay should please consider the genuine plea of the concerned Nigerians! Thank you for who you’re, what you’re and the services you have rendered. We love you!
if sebastian veron could be included in argentinas squad for the next world cup and david becham going for angland like wise blaco going for mexico i see no reason why jj should be lft out of the game hmmmmn nigeria politics done enter football becos this super unripe chickens wey me dey see will not go anywhere in this world cup……………………………somebody should pls carry out attack on the EAGLES in south africa as they did for the togolese but they should not kill anybody so that we can also withdraw from the w.cyp else we will be disgraced in SOUTH AFRICA i can bet that.
OKOCHA IS THE ONLY MIDFIELDER NIGERIA AS EVER PRODUCED.
Jay Jay Okocha is magical, & tanleted footballer and his vacumm in the nigeria national team has not been filled, more grace 2 ur elbow
Okocha is one of the most skillful players that had played the round leather game in the world, while praising him, please do not kill him by calling him the God of soccer, please use the small letter g, because we have only one Mighty God.
Okocha’s skill is second to non, I keep wondering why he never won the African footballer of the year award during his playing days, there can only be one okocha and that is jay Jay himself. I appeal to whoever wrote that Okocha is the God of soccer to change it god of soccer because we have only one God, that is the Almighty God
Jay-Jay Okocha was not Nigerian Best, He was not African Best; rather He was the World Best of the 20th/21st Century, The World Uncrowned Kind of soccer, a Living Legend. He was robbed of various Awards, But this world best allways remain happy despite all the injustice metted out on him, I will not say hail Okocha because I don’t ascribe Jehovah’s honor to man, but I will rather say “JEHOVAH BLESS OKOCHA”. His touch of the Ball, His skills, His Drible, His team leadership, His captainship, His Legacies. He remains the World Best.
Please to be Sincered..Jay Jay is Needed in South Africa to boost the Team UP
Not too long ago the earth proclaimed Michael Jackson as the “Greatest King of Pop”. Unfortunately, a proclamation made on his demise. Never was the earth unanimous in finding him of any good.
Today, as I watch here in tears stirred with immense and profound joy, the video clips of this humble legend’s football artistry, I cannot but exalt the Almighty for having endowed Jay Jay with such a talent. I congratulate you Jay Jay for your achievements and thank all who contributed in your development. Please never you forget to praise the LORD for the good health and life you enjoy particularly, as the leather game has in certain cases disrupted the lives of committed sportsmen. My dear brother, I wish you God’s choicest blessings in your endeavours. God bless you. God bless Nigeria.
At first I don’t see Jay Jay Okocha as Human Being but later I realized that I was wrong. To say the truth, Okocha is a ‘god of soccer”. Jay Jay misses a lot have been an African man.
Jay Jay is great.
God bless NIGERIA
This is the Person who made the Video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swptzrAb3as
Jay jay was the uncrown king of African football. See what he does with round leather object. The guy is highly gifted. We really miss him in our national team. Thanks 4 the clips.
Thank you.
J J should come back to the Team for the last time,Baba i beg for last time sir.
J J OKOCHA na u be d man ooooooooooooooooooooooo.
it all depend on okocha.if he his ready to sacrifice himself for the discipline of training then i sincerely think he should come.back okocha is the best thing to happen to the world midfield.our own okocha.if you can do it come back for the world cup only .at least you deserve your retirement. OKOBABA .OKOWONDER.
U ARE TRULY AFRICA’S GREATEST MIDFIELDER,NO DOUBT U ARE THE NUMERO UNO!EVEN RONALDINHO AND RONALDO LEARN FROM YOUR BUNDLE OF SKILLS.JJ U ARE THE BEST,AFRICANS LOOK NO FUTHER.
Nobody can beat this……………………………………
Jay jay is jay jay he has no duplicate I wish he could hear the cry of his fellow Nigerians and come back to the national team though he was not crown the African footballer of the year nor the World footballer of the year but the world knows there is no best footballer ever produce in Nigeria than the mercurial Jay jay the only man name twice. Big bros we will live to tell the story of that great man to our unborn children we LUV JAY JAY AUSTIN OKOCHA
jay jay is the man, his the man that make me love football like mad i don’t play it put when he is on feild of play is just man that deserve all this award in the whole world. thanks so much jay jay.
J.J OKOCHA WAS AFRICA BEST AND IN THE WORLD.,HE WAS A MASTER OF ROUND LEATHER BALL, I’ REALLY MISS HIM SO MUCH AND HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND IN THE GAME OF FOOTBALL.,CHEERS………………
We love u, sir.
jayjay is a legend.he is a role model.everybody love him.he is very humbel.pls we want somebody like him in the football ministries.
pls nigeria football association fix okocha up.we need him ,like segun odegbami.thank you so much mr westerhorf
I lost interest in our National team the very day JJ retired.
Yes Okocha is an Hero, so He deserves it . Jay Jay is a leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeegend.
In this century, Jay Jay Okocha remains my soccer idol, that even made me to attend to his wedding all the way from Portharcourt to Lagos, there will be no replacement for JJ in this Century footballically.
i’ll love 2 c again okocha do his magic again 4 his fatherland but age is no more on his side; gudluck 2 him .
we need this guy back in this world cup. that fool Mikel’the boy don mad he nor fit dey play the ball go front self that guy dey spoil dey number 10.
so my guy jj plz come back we the warri boys want your magic for this w/c.
OKOCHA IS GOD SENT N DAT IS Y NOBODY CAN REPLACE HIM PLS LET MAKE OUR OWN LEGENT BY TAKING HIM 2 W/CUP 2010.GOD BLESS OKOCHA
J.J.Okocha is a confirm legend as far as football is concern. Even till he retired,he still played like he used to in his 20s.Let’s pray Nigeria finds somebody that will almost be like him but certainly not like him. THANKS TO JAY JAY.
Jay Jay Okocha is the emperor is my best footballer in the world for life…he made football seem too simple
Some were born great, some were born to achieve greatness, Okocha was born to achieve greatness and he did, he never played for any of the biggest clubs in Europe but world football and footballers to come will continue to learn from his skills for years to come.
jay okocha the majician,i can compare jay with any player in the whole wold,in terms of free-kick,skill,entertainment,in fact okocha is the man.
jay okocha the majician,i can compare jay with any player in the whole wold,in terms of free-kick,skill,entertainment,in fact okocha is the man.
I realy love Jayjay Okocha. Austin Jay Jay I love uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu…………………….
What we see here is a mere tip of the ice berg. Suppose his other stunts are captured? I’m sure some of us will need to be resuscitated!!! Okocha needs to be celebrated. We need to show the world Okocha is a living legend. Film makers, do a film on him. Nigerian government, do a documentary on him. We need to see the man Okocha better than what is being exhibited. GOD bless him and give us a replacement.
I allways happy when ever i see Jay Jay Okocha(God of soccer) playing. But since he left the football, am no longer interest in football, because Nigeria football now is full of disapointment and tensions
A single dribble, and u must smile!
jayjay !!!!!!!!!!!! is a good player so we can use him has our coach……………………..
