Falcons Resume Camping Next Month
Senior national women’s team, the Super Falcons are expected to begin camping next month ahead of the Africa Women’s Championship which holds in South Africa later in the year.
Coach of the team, Uche Eucharia revealed this to Complete Sports in a chat from Abuja Tuesday evening.
She said the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF have instructed her to start preparing towards the resumption date which is scheduled for the second week of April.
According to Eucharia, the players will be camped in Abuja for a period of two weeks before they commence their participation in the African Women’s Championship qualifiers.
Eucharia told Complete Sports yesterday that the former African champions will play either Cote d’Ivoire or Gabon in their first game after they were drawn by in the first round of the qualifiers.
Meanwhile, the soccer tactician has further revealed that she is going to invite only players that are capable of qualifying Nigeria for the 2010 Africa Women’s Championship.

Eucharia, I have faith in your determination and experoence. But you should already know that you do not wait for the NFF before you begin preparations. Two weeks, to me, is too short if you want to have a successful campaign. I hope your efforts yield the desired result.
