Paraguay are back on the cards for an international friendly match with Nigeria’s Super Eagles in preparation for the South Africa 2010 World Cup.
The South American football super powers had earlier opted out of a deal to engage the African team on the last FIFA international day, preferring to come up against Spanish La Liga side, Atletico Bilbao on March 3, 2010.
And after making a U-turn, Paraguay are now set for the Super Eagles in the build-up to the World Cup has now been sealed.
Complete Sports gathered that May 15, 2010 has been fixed for the match which will hold in London.
This brings to four, the number of top grade international friendly matches arranged for the Super Eagles by NFF as requested by Lars Lagerback, the new Eagles coach.
The Glass House had earlier confirmed North Korea friendly match for the Eagles which will hold on April 14 in Pyongyang.
On May 15, the Super Eagles will move to London to engage Paraguay while on May 26, it will be the turn of another South American side, Colombia, to come up against the two-time African Cup of Nations champions, Super Eagles.
Ukraine will then give the Super Eagles their last tune up game in London on May 29 before the World Cup starts on June 11.

let this not be only on the pages of the nwespapers ohh !!!!!
NFF. how many players will prosecute this game. Unless 14th and 15th are not 24hrs apart. One prosecutes a game in far away N korea. enters a plane immediately lands in London, gets prepared for another game??? hush!!! it sounds funny to me. but time will tell. Am still keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe just maybe. the whole 70 players will all have their time within all these games.
All the best Mr Smallerback.
It says 14th of April and 15th of May
Thanks to people like @Ability that reads and digest before criticizing. For most people, nothing is ever good coming out of the NFF. The fact is though, if you see them do something good, it is nice to say nice things of them. Looking at the hiring process of a new manager, the quality of coaches that showed up for the interview and the eventual appointment of Lagerback; it was a good job done and to further demonstrate their seriousness, 4 quality friendlies lined up? that is a new face we must encourage and pray it continues. The NFF may not have been the best we expect , but if we see good thing coming out; no need to jump ‘hiting’ at them. I just hope this new spirit we last through the world cup preparation. @Dozie, learn to take time to read through before passing comments.
Good moves, well done NFF…hoping for a nice outing at WC. @Dozie, the 2 friendlies is one month apart ok.
