FOOTBALL:
Super Eagles boss, Lars Lagerback has revealed to Complete Sports he has his starting line-up for Saturday’s group B opening game against Argentina in his head. In the following interview with Complete Sports at Richards Bay after the team’s training session early Monday evening, the Swede also lamented the loss of Mikel Obi to injury. He also hailed the players for putting up a good show against North Korea on Sunday…
Have you settled for the Eagles starting XI against Argentina on Saturday?
I have a clear idea about my starting line-up but we still have some days to train and you’ll never know what can happen in terms of injury. But of course, I have the starting XI in my heart.
How would you rate the performance of the Super Eagles against North Korea in the friendly game played on Sunday?
Regarding the team’s performance, I am very pleased. I think the boys showed that they are improving all the time.
They have been very adaptive and they are working very hard. They controlled the game very well against North Korea.
I can say part of it was very good. But in the second half, we did not play well like I would have loved us to. Generally, it was a good game and I think from my coaching style, maybe we disrupted the team’s play because we made so many changes.
We actually planned for this in the second half as we did not want to risk any injury to any player. I think it was a good game. The lads have been working hard and I think the result is showing gradually and so we can now focus on putting our best against Argentina on Saturday.
What do you have to say on Mikel’s absence?
Of course, you want the best Nigerian players to play for Nigeria at the World Cup. I would have loved to have Mikel in the squad but he had an injury while playing for his club towards the end of the season and that has ruled him out of the World Cup. I’m not happy about this but this is football.
You have to remember that it was a long season for most of the players.
Mikel got injured, had an operation, but things did not work out the way we hoped and that’s the situation.
But luckily for us, we have lots of good players in the squad. But if you ask me, I would love to have Mikel in the squad but that’s it.
It’s a good thing Mikel is outa the line, because personally I don’t like His patern of football when it’s on the African soil. No sentiments, we shouldn’t depend on name.
Yes, we should not depend on names.
so sad that mikel has to be drop….but i wish the rest players the very best of luck.
mikel is a very good prayer only some coaching no how to used him
ITS WELL WIT HIM AND EVEN THE REST OF THE PLAYER.I LOVE NIGERIANS
Is good that Mikel left early so that coach can adjust and plan before the world cup proper. We have lots of good defensive and Attacking midfielders.I think Lukman Haruna can replace Mikel effectively in that role.He can hold ball and distribute between defenders and attackers.
So sad that mikel is out from the world cup due to injury, i hope Haruna will lift up to expectation. I wish the rest of the team good outing nd my darling Mikel quick recovery
I think there is no problem about the exit of Mikel, he has not been in anyway involve in Largerback programmes so far. We should be talking of team now not names, because we simply don’t have any big name and we can only succeed based on team work..
AM VERY PLEASED AS MIKEL IS OUT OF THE WORLD CUP, BECAUSE THE GUY FULL OF POMPOSITY AND ARROGANT BEHAVIOR, AND AGAIN WE HAVE MANY GOOD PLAYERS IN MIDFIELD SUCH AS LUKUMAN HARUNA, YUSUF ATANDA AYINLA AND BROWN IDEYE.
NFF TOO DEY DO WAYO, DEY NO BEFORE SAY MIKEL IS NOT FIT BUT THEY CARRY HIM GO THERE LIKE SAY THERE IS NO OTHER PLAYERS IN NIGERIA. OR IS STILL THAT MIKEL MUST PLAY FOR SUPER EAGLES IN WORLD CUP?
LET SAY THE TRUTH FOR THOSE THAT IS READY LISTENING AND THOSE ……………….
mikel is a very good player, his passes is always very ok. we will miss him , no doubt about that. well we wish super eagles fine outing in south africa
Let’s go
Lukuman Haruna is more better than Mikel, Lukuman play three games for Super Eagles now, Score one (1), accurate pass, hold ball adequate, shut to the post, good control of the ball etc. since Mikel is paying for Super Eagles what he as done special?
we are coming miss mikel.i don’t think lukman haruna will be able to play is role because is very rough on the field of play .
Wateva is said i still beliv Mikel is a big loss. But hey! virtually evry oda team is missing one key playa or d oda. Rio Ferdinard, Ballack, Essien, Palacios are out while Drogba, Suarzo, Pirlo n Robben e.t.c are doubtfl.
Generally, the team has improved greatly and so, any team, not only Argentina that underrate the Super Eagles at the World Cup, will have to do that at their own risks, because the Eagles are ready to fly.
It’s bad that Mikel is out, but to be sincere Lukman Haruna looks more creative than Mikel at the midfield and the lad is going to prove it against Argentina on Saturday, so overall, I think Mikel is out for good so that we can discover the hidden treasure at the midfield.
We will surely give our best at the tournament as a whole, not only against Argentina or other members of the Group B, but every team we will come across at the tournament, just mark me by my words, we will shock the world. So, all we need (myself and the team) is your vividly supports and prayers, we will leave no stone unturned.
Good a thing Mikel is not going to the world cup. We can do without his shielding of the ball and passing it backwards thereby killing the attack and putting pressure on the defense.
GOOD A THING MIKEL IS NOT GOING TO THE WORLD. WE CAN DO WITHOUT HIS SHIELDING OF THE BALL AND PASSING IT BACKWARDS THEREBY KILLING THE ATTACK PUTTING PRESSURE ON THE DEFENSE.
it is good that mikel is missing the world cup show because he has nothing to give in african soil.
fine and good that his not their but the coach will still have another person to fill the vacant position.
it sad we lost a player like mikel ,but all the same the selected players are good enough to
give us a good result, just like i have said before now here in Nigerian second chance tin is not
in our culture so for lagerback and his team i wish whatever you wish your self….emmy
Mikel or no Mikel, let us be focused and strategised for Argentina’s down fall, comes saturday June 12, 2010.
Well based on largerback he said he has aready have his first eleven. So let put our hope on him. I wish them good luck
Oh,mikel out of the team is a big loss to the team entirely. But the truth remains that there are other players in the team as good or better than mikel. For me i believe all the other players selected by the coach are better than mikel,if not he would have been selected. But come to think of it,i hate comparing mikel with Haruna luckman.for me,i see Haruna more promising than mikel in that national team.I do not see Haruna playing like mikel, but playing like jay Jay Okocha’s replacement. If you are not fit,you have no business in the team. This is a white man and not Amodu.
With commitment, dedication, harmony, team spirit, focus and prayer,Super Eagles will go far
in South Africa 2010 World Cup.wishingt them success and the rest of African Teams.
Guys please don’t lose sleep over mikel. He is good no doubt only for chelsea. He is not ready to give his best for Nigeria when it comes to national team. Siasia dropped him because of his arrogance during the olympics and our team did well without him. We lost to Argentina in Holland 2005 when he was with the team and also still lose to same Argentina in olympics when he was not with the team, so his impact will not be felt much. We have better options.
Thank God for the Haruna Lukman, but the only problem is that he is too full of himself and he believes he has arrived. He caused our exit in Egypt remember. So I can’t rely much on him. But honestly if he can keep his head down, he may even be signed by real madrid or barcelona after the world cup. He has good ball sense and good control of the ball. He reminds me of Jay Jay. Please who know him should call him to other and make him realize that the future holds more for him.
The only problem with Nigerian players is majority of them want to show their skills during playing and that makes the ball dull for we the watcher or viewers in the house. I will suggest to tell lagerback to involve Mikel bcos he is a good mid-fielder………………see yah
Point of correction, Siasia is d reason many fans dislike Mikel. It started with our Olympic qualifier when Siasia invited him but NFA summoned him 2 d senior team against Mexico in a friendly during Berti Vogts reign. Against South Africa he played Arsenal d wknd b4 d match and Siasia 2ld him he may not fit into his plans. He later went 2 town saying d boy refused 2 honor his calls. If u doubt me, ask Tella’s boys y he dropped a world cup winning team for unknown, untested and players who played out of position.

Thank God mikel didnt make it cos d guy is a calamity whenever he play for 9geria.
It is wonderful thing to learn that the Nigerian super eagles are getting their acts together once more. I just pray that this will be translated to a good outing against the Argentines and in the other games that they shall be playing during the world cup.
i believe nigeria will miss mikel at the world cup but we will still survive without him.
I’m disappointed with the absent of mikel obi from the squad. But there is still enough hope with the caliber of player will have.A play like kanu;ayila;martin and haruna.I’m urgeing nigerian to support the eagle.
I’m happy Mikel is not going to the world cup.He is not a play maker,he is a defensive mid fielder.Haruna is 20
times better than Mikel.
It is quite unfortunate what some of us post online. All we need is to support our team and stop been happy that Mikel is not going to be part of the world cup. He is currently our best and the team will miss him. Lets stop comparing him with Haruna, they are two different people and don’t play the same role. Other countries are not happy over the injury of their players.
The team should stick together and play to the tactical dictates of the coach and they will certainly do well beyound their own imagination.
Go Super Eagles and do us proud.
u see the dead of somebody is the rising of somebody, when yaradua died did’nt they swear Goodluck immediately? when he call sambo as his vp dont they swear yakowa? so the absent of mikel some body will shine, adeye has lose up b4 but God calls him back may be he is going to be our messiah we dont know, because what belongs to u always come to u, it can only be delayed but it can never be denied. i wish super eagles all the best of luck. up nigeria up super eagles.
i paticularly i am not happy for mikel not featuring in this world cup, because is a kind of player that i always want to be seeing on the pitch of play to me we will miss mikel but those that hate him may not want to see him, to me anyday, anytime and anyhow he is a great player, He stil have a bright futures ahead of him. let us see whether Lukman Arunna can make us prioud.my very best wishes to the rest of the team.
Nawa oooo, Why is everybody criticizing Mikel? mikel is very good, i mean very good in accuracy, good passing, backward passing and forward passing, you all believe that mikel absent is a disaster, but haruna can still replace him, but the problem with haruna is that he doesnt know how to play corner kick…
Just as we have been known worldwide that we are a country of too much talk but no actions. While Argentina have been busy perfecting their strategies, all our players, coaches, so called football experts, ex-Internationals and our ignorant sports administrators have been playing the match with Argentina on the pages of newpapers, can you all please SHUT UP and wait till saturday. I can predict the result anyway, but will keep quiet, I am not one of those that are blinded by patroitism Good Luck to our super eagles
Mikel helped Nigeria at d last nation cup but now people are not wishing him well.if you cann’t sympathize with him, then keep your mouth shut!
good luck to our super eagles. Go Super Eagles! Go Super Eagle!! . Personally, i Wish the super eagles good outings in south africa. May God prosper your dribbling, scoring, winning matches and the end of the championship, the cup is landed in our country AMEN.

@fred akanni. coventry uk thanks very much f or your comment on this issue at least i ve found someone that reason accurately.we are know for talk but no action. is it not the same talk we heard before the nationcup or is it not the same set of player, ok the coach ve been change but this same man was un able to qualify sweden to the world cup, maybe he wasn,t having the eleven that will defeat portugal and denmark them, now even befor the competition ,he ve got his eleven that will defeat argentina.well nff and mr larger beer or largerbackyou can decieve them there in nigeria those that refuse to see the truth not me here in europe, cos i live with u people i know ur tricks, u are only interestedin the money my country is paying u not the job.
Mikel seems not to have luck while playing in Africa but does on other part o the world. Meanwhile, i dont even expect disappointment from this Laggerback’s team. All we need to do is to pray for them to go far in the world and also have a team like that of 1994.NFF should give the coach free hand to decide his best.
It is unfortunate Mikel is out but the Eagles must fly without him.Let us support the eagles and stop praising and condemning.Cant we borrow a leaf from other countries?.Goodluck eaglesl
I’m equally not happy that Mikel will be missing in action for Nigeria at the WC, he is a class act you won’t just pretend to ignore, that he’s not been super in the Eagles i believe is because he’s not been properly utilized by our local coaches. I was hoping that Lagerback would bring out the best in Mikel for Nigeria by playing him were he fits best. Fortunately he’s still young and his best for Nigeria is still to come. Fortunately again, Haruna i believe is going to be the revelation of this WC, MARK MY WORDS. Should Nigeria progress beyond the 1st round which we all are praying for, we will have our own among the first eleven of SOUTH AFRICA 2010 and that guy will be Lukman. Lets all hope for the best for our dear country!
MIKEL”S ABSENCE AT THE WORLD CUP IS A BIG MISS FOR NIGERIA BUT I BELIEVE NIGERIA WILL GET TO THE 2ND ROUND
MAKE UNA NO LUZ SLEEP LAGERFRONT GO SHOW HIMSELF
larger has really show that he is a world class coach by sending mikel away.hope he will transfer is expertise to the real match
There is no way we can miss him because he is not more creative than Okocha. With the exit of Okocha Nigeria still manage to cope. Team work is the solution, not an individual.
Fact — Mikel is a class act ( if u doubt ask Sir Alex) Fact — Haruna is an embodiment of Nigerian football (flair and heart) These boys are great players an would have complemented each other (at least Lars had the balls to pick Haruna). I remember the same trepidition being expressed ahead of the Nigeria vs. Spain match in 1998. The guys came thru but “won ku si ona bi efi” against denmark. We should pray that discipline does not disintegrate after Argentina. Let’s face it that match is not the end of the world. To the Nigerians in Diaspora on this thread, please do not fool yourself . If you like be staying in Coventry or Calcutta,I am also sorry to disappoint you, your thinking is not superior to those of us staying at Okokomaiko.
PS:-The English and American press have not stopped hyping their chances at the mundia!! — Maradona already had his starting eleven against Nigeria several months ago!
With Mikels current form, he is a player that we should have reckoned with at the world cup in south Africa. Sincerely, he has proven his worth and pedigree both at club even at the Nations cup that’s recently played in Angola. We’ll miss him as a Nation and I love him Dearly. Wishing a successful tournament to the eagles of Nigeria!
I think the super eagles are getting it right now. Thanks to coach Lars Lagerback; more strength to your elbow. On the issue of Mikel Obi missing out, I believe that God knows why it has to be so because his presence would have beef up the strength of the team. But We don’t have to worry too much, Haruna Lukman can still do the wonders. I can feel greatness in our own super eagles. EAGLES GO!
Is painfful to have loss mikel obi for the world cup.
it is very pianful to me that mikel is not going to the world cup, but i wish him good recovery, and for the super eagles, i wish them all the best from God almight, go for goal super eagles.
yes mikel is a good but we don’t need to depend on an individual.l wish them well, carry go super eagles.
hey yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i pitty 4 mikel, but we have to proceed to the world cup,
we should not be selfish, people from other countries are wishing Mikel quick recovery,we are here saying all sort of things about our own son.It is unfortunate. I wish the super eagles the best of luck in south Africa.Mikel,Ike uche,Anichebe I wish you guys quick recovery.Amen
Is it not shameful that fellow Nigerians are openly showing their evil ways through this medium. How on earth will any sane person be thanking God for one’s injury. It is develish, ungldly and punishable by God. May God in his wisdom visit these evil men with their desired punishment. May their evil wish for Mikel (the only Nigerian playing the highest profile football) returned to them in Jesus name. They will never see good in their lives. I am fed up with the height of senselesness with which Africans talk and write. tell me any country where the fans are rejoicing over the injury of their players. Instead of channeling our anger and frustration at our politicians and NFF who daily and steadily steal your money, you dissipate energy rejoicing over a player who got to his position by shere talent and hard work. Shame! shame! shame to all of you that posted the disgusting posts. You all belong to the jungle (that’s why they call us black monkeys because we have inferior brains (no apologies, we do)). To Mikel I pray that God will heal you fast so that you continue to be good to yourself and country. You are blessed!

everything depend on lagerback, lukman can step in,if their play as a terms ,argentine wil cry again,
Yes, Haruna is good. offensively and defensively, he is there. But please let us be careful as to how we talk so that we don’t put pride in his head. When Mikel came out in 2005, we all shouted “a replacement has come for Okocha!” We put his feet in a shoe bigger than him. Why are we now complaining of his pride? If he’s not good, how come he features for Chelsea regularly?
Anyway, to be frank, I still prefer Haruna to Mikel except in the Larger man was going to have a better way of utilizing him. But, let Haruna cool down his head, let him not allow all these get into his head and become puffed up with pride.
quoting frank akanni and rexfranklin, enough of the paper talk lets get down to do business mr larger back starting eleven as got stock to his head, mikel or no mikel super eagle will perfom if those guys atitude to the game become things of the past the sky is their limit,a lot of work on the defence and the midfield while the improve in shooting power of our attackers will make difference against argentina, argentines are not God of soccer, proper preparation will make our eagles exel, nigerians should stop fretting and keep praying as we all know prayer changes things,go win super eagles we can’t wait see wining against argentina.
It is sad to read comments from people who obviously dont know much about soccer. Blaming Mikel for his style of play rather than blame Nigerian coaches who have continued to live in the past. Yes Mikel started his career as a creative midfielder, but under Jose Morinho at Chesea the lad was transformed into a defensive midfielder and has excelled in it till date. Playing regularly for a team like chelsea is no small achievement. Nigerian coaches must see Mikel as a defensive midfielder and stop playing him in a role he has obviously left behind. So pls stop blaming Mikel.
@Chinedu, may God bless u. Dis boy pple call arrogant and pompous was d one who called d attention of d coaches 2 let them know he won’t be able 2 cope. Other countries are managing their injured stars eg Drogba, Robben, Torres, Ledley King etc but he said he wouldn’t want 2 waste d slot. If dat’s not humility, let somebody tell me what it is. Lagerback even lamented his loss after seeing him a few days in training. Having said all dat, a tree cannot make a forest. I believe our coach has assembled a good team. Even Mikel says d team he saw in training will surprise d world. If we cannot support our team d way he has done, then shame on us. Those insulting him r worse than d names he’s been called. Speedy recovery Mikel. God bless Nigeria and d Super Eagles.
There is time for everything. A time to play and a time to have injury. I pray he recovers and play for his club and Nigeria someother day. I love you Michel. Cheers
Nigerians are never analytical and objective enough! Mikel has always been a formidable star in the field of play!! Haruna so far has also demonstrated good skills. But the truth is that Nigerians want more of entertaining football which Haruna can deliver.Bt think of it; are defensive and attacking midfielders not both imptnt?I believe the presence of the duo would have been a superb combination!!! QUICK RECOVERY MIKEL
lthis white man we called coach need to have his head examine. For him to have said that Lukman is better than Mikel is a sheer displayed of ignorant. sentiments aside, Obi is the biggest Nigerian player in every standard. Who care about him been arrogant as alleged. after all the chap can decide to choose his personal life the way he damn fit. We all will surely missed Obi no matter what every one said. As a coach, his comments only displayed one thing, that Nigerians are bound to face a disaster in the world cup proper. May God help us. wish Nigerian best quick recovery.
To all patriotic nigerians. I greet you all. I really appreciate all the people that posted good comments about our team. we should all appreciate what we have. Mikel is there or not there is not the issue. The matter is anyone selected to wear the green white green color of our country should post a good performance. Mikel is a good player. You just imagine if Mikel, Kanu, Taiye and all these boys are playing for U.S team or a develop country team. You will see how they worship their celebrities and players. Please guys, let us all encourage these guys. They can do it and i’m sure they will surprise all there critics. Wish Eagles best of luck come saturday. We all will be here to celebrate the victory over Argentina.
All the people here saying rubbish here are so stupid and foolish especially u idiot fatai that cant write good English. What do u all know..sebi u happy mikel has injury, how will u feel if u learnt people are happy u have accident.Idiot..Go super eagles excel or no excel ..we all want to watch soccer
Well, yes no body is indispensable, it is sad about Mikel but i believe in the rest of the players. It is rather unfortunate that few days to the world cup, some people are still been critical about the team. By now in Europe and America few days to the World every football loving fan render their support to their teams but here in Nigeria most people don,t see anything good in anything, they are always negatively minded, ask them the solution they become moronic.
Go!!!!!!!!! Super Eagles and soar to highest height who says you cant do it?
Wheeeeeeeeeeew i love my country!!!!!!!!!!!!
MOFE STEPHENS
How on earth can people be rejoicing with Mikel’s loss. He is simply Nigeria best player at the moment and if only these devious pple can read Largerback mind on the loss of his best player. Whether they like him or not, he’s simply above others presently in Eagles. People has turn football to running and running like Osase, Lukman, etc and forget about intelligent. Go and ask from Diarra in Chelsea. At nations cup, if not because of blind and average strikers including Osaze against Ghana where Mikel dominated the midfield from the beginning to the end with incise and intelligent pass, we would have played in the final and who could tell….?
It is still appalling how some unreasonable nigerians think…. I wish Mikel quickest recovery.
I wish everyone that has wished Mikel evil that such evil be visited on them forever and ever in Jesus name. Lukman look more like Olishe and never an Okocha or Mikel.
One major problem we have in Nigeria is that we always critisize what we have, what has Mikel done wrong?,why is it that we always discourage others from serving their fathers land?,it is unfair
Haruna Lukman should be advised to work on his temperament. Coach Las Lagerback should lay more emphasis on the defence. I wish the Super Eagles best of luck at the mundial!
Dear sir, l would advice the coach that yobo should not be put in the central defence in the opening game,so much lapses occur when he plays that role, please lars shohld feature him as a right full back or as an attacking midfielder in the opening game, wishes eagle the best and strongly believe they will go far in the tournament, yet he still knows best
Thank God that Mikel Obi is not in the squad. God knows why, his absence may be a blessing in disguise, but, if you ask me, I would say that since he (Mikel) started playing for the super eagles, there had not been anything super about him. He is just not too serious , unnationalistic, and unpatriotic. I’m sorry if I sound offensive, but, that is just the way I see this boy Mikel.
God let yhur will be done in our super Eagles.
When Mikel was dropped from the Olympic team, many Nigeria complained even one of the coaches with the Eagle now but the team performed and played very well without me in the Olympic so what are talking about. My concern is the left back position in the team. The Eagle we do well and surpise many doubting Thomos, Best of luck to the Eagles
it better that mikel is out because there is not commitment in his football and haruna shows more promises es than mikel in attacking
We have good replacements for Mikel. I believe other midfield maestro there can play his position well. Lets us not over burden ourselves with the headache of Mikel’s absence. The Eagles indeed will triumph God helping. Good luck Super Eagles!
The most important thing is to have a good team that will be coherent. Absence of a player should not be turned to hope lost. Lars should please work on our defence. Yobo is to play 2 and not 5. God be with eagles.
Nigeria 1 Agentina 0
Nigeria would win the match, they should look out for Argentina tricks. They need to concentrate and be focused
Olamide, u sound so darken, why r u saying something like that instead 2 pray 4 d rest, u r disputting odas, u better go sleep, may b because of where u r coming from that is why u talk like a kid
I want to predict Nigeria vs Agentina.Nigeria is going to win or draw
why bringing sentiment and hatred to the sport we all love and unit us most in nigeria, liking mikel or not liking him will not and will not take anything away from him, his a succesful player making waves in his time. He’s one of the best we have in nigeria football for now. been out because of injury is a big lost. i wish mikel the best and quick recovery.we love him.
mikel remain one of the best player depatured legend austin j.j.okocha,nig is still strugling to get replacement to fix in his position.but what i dont know is the reason why people continued criticize able & compitent mikel.mikel remain the best for niger leave the sentiment & hatred…..
COMPLETE SPORTS PLEASE,PLEASE!!,PLEASE!!! I AM IN DIRE NEED OF SOME INFORMATION AS REGARDS OUR OGBUH-LED FLYING EAGLES THAT RECENTLY WON TWO DIFFERENT INVITAION TOURNEYS IN SOUTH AFRICA AND EGYPT.I HAVE READ IN MANY DAILIES THAT THE TOURNAMENT IN SOUTH AFRICA SAW NIGERIA PLAY AGAINST GHANA AND BRAZIL,BUT NO PAPER (FROM THE LOT I RREAD) COULD GIVE SCORES OF THESE MATCHES OR EVEN A SUMMARY OF THE GAMES.I HAVE A KEEN INTEREST IN THAT TEAM AND I BELIEVE MANY FOOTBALL-LOVING NIGERIANS HAVE TOO.SO PLEASE FIND OUT THE SCORES FOR THE MATCHES OUR FLYING EAGLES PLAYED, ESPECIALLY THE ONE IN SOUTH-AFRICA.
MANY THANKS
mikel is a most needed in this tonament, but nevertheless since he couldn’t make it, we still have to go on. wish nthe super eagles the best of luck in all thire match.
i am wishing the super eagles good luck, l am assuring them that i will suport and always pray for them.
Firstly concerning Mikel’s exit,i think some things have to give way for other things to come up and dat was exactly what brought d likes of Osaze to limelight. So lets take it as an opportunity to produce new league of passionate players to d national team, take Brazil for an instance.GO NIGERIA, GO FOR GOLD.
MIKEL INJURIE IS A BLESSING FROM GOD , I DONT RATE HIM AS A PLAYER, THIS IS WHOT HAPPEN WHEN YOU GO TO THE WRONG CLUB FOR MONEY, HE HAS COMPLETLY LOST IS STYL OF FOOTHBALL THAT MADE PEOPLE THINK HIS GOOD, MURINHNO SPOIL HIS GAME FOR GOOD. ALL HE DOES IN A GAME NOW IS PLAYS SHORT PASSES, HIS NOT CREATIVE AND HIS NOT IN CONTROL THANK GOD HIS INJURED, ATLEAST HE CAN GO BACK TO CHELSKI, AV YU EVER HEARD ANYCLUB INTRESTED IN HIM? MAY BE EYIMBA
TO ADEDAPO, THIS NOT A MATTER OF PRAYING, MY BROTHER IN PRAYER THE YOU POSE FOR CAMERA THATS HOW YOU GET YOUR PICTURE, SO I BEG NA EVERY COUNTRY GET THE SAME GOD, SO LEAVE PRAYER FOR ONE SIDE AND ENJOY THE WORLD CUP, YOU CAN GO BACK TO YOUR PRAYER ON SUNDAY AND YOU CAN PRAY ME TO, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR THE PRAYER
Mikel or no Mikel no excuse for failure. We want the best from the Eagles in south africa.
Why do nigerian compare people with negative words?. Mikel is good, the best at present in his position, Haruna is good as well at his own position. Praise both of them not divide them.
They should 4get bout Mikel now cos he has nt been making any impact in the, hope Haruna is better cos he has the pass n can distribute the ball. But against Argentina l wish them luck
I am extremely happy MIKEL is not playing in the world cup,i have just discovered that LUKMAN HARUNA is a revelation. He is a ball winner, committed, skillful and match fit-watch all the friendlies he was all over the pitch attacking or defending, with much exposure he is our next play maker. Anyway as for MIKEL this might be the end of his playing time for the SE,we are tired of his antics-Didier Drogba had surgery on SATURDAY on his arm and ready to play next week for his beloved country, what do you call that ? (PATRIOTISM) yet both play for thesame club.
I believed that coach largerback knows is first eleven players that he wil use againts argetina (i prayed 4 niger success)
i am praying for the our nation nigeria to atleast reach second round cause what i see in the super eagles i mean the players, there are a lot of unserious players in the team but any how let see what the coach might do,but we have to understand that the coach is not a player, he will do his own as a coach and the players should perform too.
