22 Home Eagles In Camp For CHAN Preparation

The Home- Based Super Eagles commenced preparations ahead of the African Nations Championships in Rwanda on Tuesday in Abuja, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Twenty two out of the 26 invited players Completesportsnigeria.com learnt trained twice at the mainbowl of the Abuja National Stadium under the close supervision the team assistant coach, Jean Francois Loscuito, who is temporarily in charge of the team in the absence of head coach, Sunday Oliseh.

Four of the players still expected in camp are the captain of the side, Gbolahan Salami, Bature Yaro, Usman Mohammed and Matthew Etim.

The Eagles will play a tune up game against Ivory Coast January 9 in Pretoria, South Africa where they are expected to set up a camping site ahead of the biennial competition.

Sunday Oliseh’s men are Group C alongside Tunisia, Guinea and Niger.

The team came third at the last edition of the competition in South Africa.

Rwanda will staged the competition from January 16 to February 7, 2016.
