3SC’s Attah, Alimi Out Of Heartland Clash

Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan new signings Ibrahim Attah and Jamiu Alimi will miss this weekend’s clash against Heartland in Owerri, completesportsnigeria.com can report.

The Westerlo academy loanee, Attah, injured his knee during Shooting Stars’ 2-1 win over Wikki Tourists on Wednesday.

The former Sharks attacking midfielder is expected to be out for next ten days
but could return against Kano Pillars in Ibadan.

“I got some knocks on my knee in our last game and I won’t be travelling for our game against Heartland,” Attah told completesportsnigeria.com.

Also ruled of of the game is Alimi who also joined from Sharks during mid-season. Alimi didn’t make the squad for the clash.

A brace from Tope Orelope ensured 3SC earned maximum points from the encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan last Wednesday

Godwin Obaje scored for Wikki Tourists in the 28th minute to give the visiting team the lead but seven minutes to the end of the game, Orelope levelled scores from the spot after a Wikki player handled the ball inside the vital area.

He grabbed the winner with a header in the 90th minute. 3SC now have 29 points in 21 games, while Wikki have 34 points.
