Nigeria forward Moses Simon bagged a yellow card as he helped Gent to a 1-1 draw at Kortrijk in a Belgian top flight clash on Sunday.
The Super Eagles star, who played the whole game, was cautioned in the 26th minute. Six minutes later hosts Kortrijk took the lead through Idir Ouali.
Renato Neto however earned Gent a point with the equaliser in the 51st minute.
Also in Belgium on Sunday, Nigeria defender Wilfred Ndidi was in full-time action as Genk defeated Oostende 2-1.
Another Nigerian, Joseph Akpala, was a 79th minute substitute for the visiting Oostende.
Nikos Karelis, in the 50th minute, and Mbwana Samata, in the 90th minute, scored Genk’s goals. Knowledge Musona scored Oostende’s consolation in added time.
In Finland, Azubuike Egwuekwe and fellow Nigerian Gbolahan Salami played the full game as their club KuPs came from behind at home to hold RoPs 1-1 in a league clash.
