Nigerian striker Afolabi Okiki has told Completesportsnigeria.com he is relieved after signing a one-year deal with Argentine Primera Division club Talleres de Córdoba.
Okiki a former Nigeria U-20 and U-23 national team player completed his move with the Córdoba-based top flight outfit in the wee hours of Thursday in Buenos Aires.
The former Shooting Stars forward revealed that he was pleased to have completed his move after being in limbo for almost a year.
“I’m happy that the move has been completed because at some point I was having doubts,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“It’s time for me to repay my new coach for believing in me and I pray I score many goals for the club.”
