Former home-based Super Eagles forward Tunde Adeniji was voted the man of the match as Levski Sofia defeated OFK Pirin Blagoevgard 2-0 in a Bulgarian league game on Saturday night, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former Sunshine Stars striker also scored Levski’s second goal in the encounter.
Adeniji has now scored four goals in seven games for his side this season.
He was voted the player of the month for August after his impressive displays in the opening weeks of the Bulgarian league.
He is a goal behind Botev Plodiv’s Joao Paulo and Lokomotiv Plovdiv forward Martin Kamburov who have scored five goals each in the top scorers chart.
Levski sit at the top of the standings with 17 points, one more than second placed Dunav 2010.
