On Sunday Chelsea will host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in this weekend's big clash in the English Premier League.
It will be a somewhat homecoming for Jose Mourinho who was sacked by Chelsea after leading them to the EPL title two seasons ago.
This will be the third time Mourinho is facing Chelsea with another team.
Ahead of the Sunday's mouthwatering encounter, Completesportsnigeria.com's JAMES AGBEREBI takes a look at how Mourinho has fared in SIX previous clashes against his former teams…
1. CHELSEA 3-1 FC PORTO (UCL Group Stage, 1st Leg; 2004-2005)
After leading FC Porto to their second UEFA Champions League title in the 2003-2004 season, Jose Mourinho left the Portuguese giants for Chelsea the following season.
Both teams were drawn in the same group in the 2004-2005 campaign with Chelsea winning 3-1 in their first leg group encounter.
Alexey Smertin, Didier Drogba and John Terry scored for Chelsea, while former South Africa striker, Benni McCarthy got Porto's only goal.
2. FC PORTO 2-1 CHELSEA (UCL Group Stage, 2nd Leg; 2004-2005)
In the reverse fixture in Portugal which was just a formality game for Chelsea, FC Porto secured a 2-1 win.
Diego and McCarthy were the scorers for FC Porto, with Damien Duff getting Chelsea's only goal.
3. FC PORTO 1-1 CHELSEA (UCL RD16, 1st Leg; 2006-2007)
Mourinho with Chelsea, crossed the path of FC Porto again in the 2006/2007 UEFA Champions League this time in the Round of 16.
And once again, Mourinho triumphed over his former club.
In the first leg played in Portugal, Chelsea forced FC Porto to a 1-1 draw.
Raul Meireles had given FC Porto the lead before Andriy Shevchenko equalised for Chelsea.
4. CHELSEA 2-1 FC PORTO (UCL RD 16, 2nd Leg; 2006-2007)
In the second leg at the Stamford Bridge, Chelsea came from a goal down to win 2-1 and advanced into the quarter-finals.
Ricardo Quaresma put FC Porto ahead, but goals from Arjen Robben and Michael Ballack, secured a 3-2 aggregate win for The Blues.
5. INTER MILAN 2-1 CHELSEA (UCL RD 16, 1st Leg; 2009-2010)
After leaving Chelsea in the 2007-2008 season, Mourinho joined Inter Milan ahead of the 2008-2009 season.
After scaling through the group stage other UCL, Mourinho's Inter Milan faced Chelsea in the Round of 16 and won the first leg 2-1, thanks to goals from Esteban Cambiasso and Diego Milito.
Chelsea's goal was scored by Cote d'Ivoire's Salomon Kalou.
6. CHELSEA 0-1 INTER MILAN (UCL RD 16, 2nd Leg; 2009-2010)
Mourinho's Inter Milan eventually eliminated Chelsea from the 2009/2010 UCL after beating them 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in the second leg to progress into the quarter-finals 3-1 on aggregate.
