Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, leading scorer, Bright Ejike, has posited his ultimate ambition is to contribute his quota to ensure the Naze Millionaires to league glory this term.
Ejike has scored eight goals so far in the campaign and reckons more are yet to come.
"My dream is to continue to work hard to ensure I continue scoring goals, to help my team, Heartland end the season on a better position on the table at the end of the season," Ejike told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ejike was part of coach John Obuh's Flying Eagles squad that represented Nigeria at the Colombia 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup finals.
He switched to Heartland from Sharks and scored against his former team in the 1-1 draw in Port Harcourt, in a match day-14 clash at Liberation Stadium last weekend.
He told Completesportsnigeria.com that Owerri provides him a better atmosphere to reach his career top.
"I think here at Heartland I play alongside more quality players and the atmosphere is much better than when I was in Sharks," he explained.
Ejike wants to set a new goal scoring record in the Nigeria domestic league after Mfon Udoh set a 23-goal record last season.
"Before the season started, I said I would score 20 goals this season, but the way things are going at the moment, baring injuries, I think I would score more than that number," he said.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
