AAG: Falcons Thrash Tanzania, Advance To Semis

The Super Falcons have qualified for the semi-final of the 11th All Africa Games after they defeated Tanzania 3-0 on Wednesday.

Desire Oparanozie scored two first-half goals to give the Falcons a 2-0 lead before the break.

In the second half, Esther Sunday made it 3-0 for the Falcons who would now meet the runner-up in Group B.
They will take on Cote d’Ivoire in their last Group A game on Saturday.

In their opening game, they thrashed host Congo 5-1, with Oparanozie scoring four of the goals.
