“I know there will be some people out there who will not want them to win it but I hope this will be their year.”
“I like their coach (Imama Amapakabo) and some of their players like Bobby Clement, Emmanuel Daniel and Godwin Aguda.
His view was corroborated by Azubuike Ikenna, a septugenarian from the eastern part of the country who supports rival club Enyimba.
Ikenna said: “Though I am a proud supporter of Enyimba, I will be at the stadium to support Rangers on Sunday.”
“Enyimba won the title last season and it will be nice for another Oriental side to win it again.”
