–Charges Ejor boys to go past CIV in tonday’s crucial tie
Supersand Eagles impressive run in the on-going beach soccer championship in Seychelles has received plaudit from Samson Adamu, son of former FIFA and CAF Executive Committee member, Amos Adamu.
The Sand Eagles trashed hosts, Seychelles 10-1 in their opening match Tuesday and edged Egypt’s Pharaohs 4-1 on Wednesday in their second group game, a result that put them one step to the semi finals.
Samson,who is the CEO of Kinetic Sports Managenent, Organisers of the annual Copa Lagos beach soccer tournament said he was hopeful the team will qualify for the world Beach Soccer Championship.
Nigeria will lock horns with Ivory Coast in their last group A match today and Adamu reckons such victory will put the team in the right spirit for the final match.
“it is very expedient to beat Ivory Coast National beach soccer team as it will go a long way in boosting the confidence of the team pscologically”, Adamu Jnr said.
“Of course, victory over Cote D’ Ivoire on Thursday means they will top the group and get them focused enroute to the finals of the CAF African Beach Soccer Championship, thereby quaranteeing them ticket to World Championship in portugal in June this year.”
Samson Adamu’s Kinetic Sports Management owns beach soccer franchise in Nigeria. He also called on the NFF to do all they can, motivation-wise to make sure the Supersand Eagles maintained their splendid form and performances to ensure qualification for the forth coming beach soccer world cup in portugal.
