Nigeria’s D’Tigers star Ike Diogu, who has been sidelined by injury and unable to play in the team’s two victories against Central Africa Republic and Uganda at the ongoing FIBA-Africa Basketball Championship in Tunisia, is upbeat he can play for his country in the remainder of the tournament as he is on the mend, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 31-year-old forward had been ruled out of the tournament because of the injury but he says he is fast healing.
“There is great improvement compared to when it just happened and I am confident that I will be part of the show,” Diogu who is currently on crutches told FIBA.com.Jiji.ng the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
