Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu has told Completesportsnigeria.com that he celebrated his team, Nasarawa United’s first away win of the season at Kano Pillars on Sunday, but did not taunt the losing side as was reported in some sections of the media.
Kano Pillars crashed to 2-1 defeat to visiting Nasarawa United at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday in a match day 25 game. It was their first home defeat in 12 years.
“I was happy that my team, Nasarawa United won the game in Kano,” offers Agu who as aplayer, had a career stint in Holland
“It was supposed to be our first away win of the season which was why I expressed my delight with the outcome of the game.
“But sadly, it was published to mean that I was happy because Kano Pillars lost. No, it’s not so; I don’t celebrate peoples down fall.
“At the same time, the way some sections of the media served out the news could pit the good fans of Kano Pillars against me, which is wrong,” Agu told Completesportsnigeria.com on Tuesday.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
