Enyimba coach Paul Agbogun insists his side can beat Egyptian champions Zamalek and revive their faltering CAF Champions League title hopes, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigerian champions who are still without a win in the group stages of the competition must beat the White Knights in Cairo on Monday to boost their chances of making it to the semi-finals.
And Aigbogun is upbeat his side can turn the table against the Egyptians in their backyard.
“We are here in Cairo to get a good result and if not why are we here? We have prepared to get a good result and we will give our 100% best,” Aigbogun told the club’s website.
“Hopefully on matchday, we will achieve our target as a team. We don’t want to look at the fact that they (Zamalek) lost home and away to Sundowns.
“Their overall performances in the games was great. We don’t have to concentrate too much on the Sundowns game.We have to work hard and prepare for their strength and weakness.”
