Ajagba Jabs To Nigeria’s 4th Boxing Gold!

Team Nigeria's Efe Ajagba won Nigeria's fouth gold medal in the boxing event of the ongoing 11th All Africa Games Saturday night in Congo Brazzaville.

Fighting in the +91kg Super Heavyweight division, Ajagba gained an unanimous decison over his Seychelles counterpart, Keddy Agnes.

Ajagba displayed more experience and made effective use of his longer reach to keep his opponent at bay.

Before the fight, Efe Tobor Apochi won a silver medal after losing to his Mauritius opponent, Kennedy St Pierre in the 91kg Welterweight division.

In all, Team Nigeria boxers won a total of four gold and two silver medals in boxing on Saturday night.
