Ajani Ibrahim has told completesportsnigeria.com he ditched former side, Sunshine Stars for 3SC because of unpaid wages running into millions of naira..
The former Sharks winger cum striker joined the Oluyole Warlords without the consent of his former employees and has been labelled a traitor by Sunshine Stars officials.
The player has however moved to defend himself, stating that he was not fairly treated by the club despite four years of quality service.
“They (Sunshine Stars) can say whatever they like, but the fact is they didn’t show me enough respect as one of the senior members of the team,” he told completesportsnigeria.com.
”In a situation where you owe a player N4.5m what do you expect?
“I was expecting that we would sit down and sort things out before the start of the season but I did not hear anything from them.
“But they want me to continue to play under that type of condition.
“Soon I will write a petition to the League Management Company on what transpired between us.”
