The Cairo giants have reportedly tabled over a $1m bid for the services of the 20-year-old who scored ten goals for the Tunisian Ligue 1 runners-up.
Ajayi who is a sure bet for the Olympics, barring any injury worries, has his head turned on by the $60,000 a month salary tabled for his services by the 38-time Egyptian league champions.
"The offer is awesome and I am speechless but my focus is to make the squad for the Olympics," Ajayi told Completesportsnigeria.com during the exclusive chat.
"After the Olympics, I will be discussing my future with my agent."
Al Ahly, the 38-time Egyptian league champions have been underwhelming of late, having slipped to the bottom of their CAF Champions League Group A with zero points following two defeats at the hands of Zambia's ZESCO and Ivory Coast's ASEC Mimosa.
