Nigeria U-23 international Junior Ajayi started his career with Tunisian outfit CS Sfaxien on a remarkable note, hitting the back of the net on his debut as his club beat Gasfa 3-1 on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ajayi scored the second goal for Sfaxien in the 34th minute to put them in the lead for the first time in the game, following Chellouf Ghezi’s early goal for Gasfa.
The former First Bank Football Club of Lagos forward was a thorn in the side of Gasfa defenders in the encounter and his goal was a good reward for his effort.
Ajayi who was on loan at Glo Premier League side, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, is expected to be a hit at the club following his outstanding performance at club and national team level.
Emem Uduok is other notable Nigerian plying his trade in the Tunisian League.
