Dream Team forward, Junior Ajayi is confident the side will beat Congo in the second leg of their African U-23 Championship qualifier next weekend in Brazzaville.
The Samson Siasia led side could only managed a slim 2-1 win against the Congolese in Port Harcourt last weekend.
And Ajayi who scored a brace in the encounter is adamant they can do a double over Claude Le Roy’s men.
“It’s disappointing that we failed to convert most of the chances we created in the first leg,”begins the Shooting Stars Sports Club hitman.
“But I still strongly believe we can beat them in their own territory.
“I have heard people complain about the slim win from the first leg, but it is still okay that we did not lose.
“We have a goal advantage over them and we will do everything we can to protect it.”
The overall winner of the encounter will play in the final tournament of the African U-23 Championship scheduled for November 28 to December 12 in Senegal.
The top three teams at the competition will represent Africa at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, while the fourth placed team will face an Asian side in a playoff for another ticket.
