By David Meshioye &Adeboye Amosu in Kigali:

Tunisia forward, Ahmed Akaichi says his side deserves to beat Nigeria in their Group C fixture at the African Nations Championship, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Carthage Eagles are still without a win in the competition after holding the home-Eagles to a 1-1 draw on Friday at the Kigali Regional Stadium.

The Etoile du Sportive Sahel hitman scored his third goal of the competition in the game.

Akaichi told Completesportsnigeria.com after the encounter that his side failed to win the game due to their inability to convert their chances.

"Nigerin did well in the game, but we created better chances than them.

"We could have won the game if we had converted all our chances," Akaichi told Completesportsnigeria.com.
