Akwa United Unveil Maikaba As New Coach

By Adeboye Amosu:

Akwa United have unveiled Abdu Maikaba as their new head coach, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former Kano Pillars and Enyimba assistant coach penned a two- year deal with the Promise Keepers.
He was presented to the club faithful on Wednesday by club chief Paul Bassey in Uyo.
Maikaba took over from Maurice Cooreman who was sacked following the Uyo-based club’s poor showing in the NPFL and on the continent last season.
Maikaba guided Wikki Tourists to third position in the Nigeria Professional Foptball League last term but has decided to seek a fresh challenge elsewhere.
He will look to replicate the same level of success at his new club.
