Former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Dele Alampasu has been ruled out of the U-23 Eagles international friendly against Brazil billed for Thursday March 24.
According to thenff.com, a mail sent to the NFF by the medical doctor of Alampasu’s Portuguese club, Clube Desportivo Feirense, Dr. Alexandre Brandao, confirmed that Alampasu suffered an acute appendicitis on March 8 and had to be operated upon immediately.
And following the operation, Alampasu will be out of sporting activities for between two to three weeks.
Also, the report sent by Dr. Brandao added that Alampasu was still in hospital recuperating from the operation.
Following this development, the U-23 Eagles will now head to Brazil with two goalkeepers- Emmanuel Daniel and Yusuf Mohammed.
