Former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu, has warned the team that they must be at their best against Brazil when both countries clash in Sunday’s quarter-final match at the on-going FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigerians who have won the title a record four times will face their biggest test yet in the competition when they come up against the three-time winners.
Alampasu who was voted the best goalkeeper at the 2013 edition of the competition in the United Arab Emirates challenged the team not to be intimidated by the South Americans.
“It’s going to be a tough game, but they must be ready to give their all against the dangerous Brazilians,” the Portugal-based keeper told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“They have done well so far in the competition which should give them enough confidence going into the game.”
The match kicks off at 8pm Nigerian time on Sunday.
