Algeria, Senegal and Tunisia have been drawn in the toughest group for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Zimbabwe make up Group B of the event after the draw was held in Libreville on Wednesday night.
In another tough-looking group, champions Cote d'Ivoire will face Morocoo, DR Congo and Togo in Group C.
Group D also has heavyweight teams, with Ghana, Egypt, Uganda, all in the same World Cup qualifying group, making up the pool with Mali.
Hosts Gabon are in Group A along with 2013 losing finalists Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Guinea Bissau.
Group stage matches in the competition will be concluded on January 25, while quater-final matches will be played on January 28 and 29.
Semi-final matches are scheduled for February 1st and 2nd, with third place for February 4.
The final of the competition will hold on February 5 in Libreville.
