Allardyce Shuns Super Eagles Offer

–Says he wants to renew West Ham contract

West Ham boss,Sam Allardyce says he is not thinking about a move away from Upton Park but rather he wants to earn a new contract with the London-based English Premier league side.

Big Sam,as Allardyce is fondly called has been linked with both the Super Eagles job and that of Sunderland following the dismissal of Gus Poyet.

The former Bolton manager said:“It’s pure speculation.

“I’m West Ham manager, I’m contracted to West Ham and I don’t expect anything other than sometime along the line we’ll be talking about a contract here.

“Will I be staying if the contract is right? If the contract’s right, yes.”

One of Allardyce’s former players,Austin Jayjay Okocha who played for him at Bolton for five years,according to a report in The Sun of England on Wednesday heads Nigeria’s search for a new boss after failure to qualify for the African Nations Cup finals.

According to the report,Big Sam is out of contract at West Ham this summer and his wife Lynn wants him to step back from full-time club management.
