Super Eagles and Celtic defender, Efe Ambrose, says he is committed to the Scottish champions despite struggling to pin down a regualr spot at the club this season amid a barrage of criticism, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Ambrose, who scored for Nigeria against Cameroon in last Sunday’s international friendly encounter in Brussels, Belgium, has played second fiddle to Dedyrick Boyata this season.
The former Kaduna United player has also come in for plenty of criticism after a series of errors for the Bhoys. His most recent one came against Fenerbache in the Europa League.
He has however said he is not contemplating leaving Parkhead and says manager Ronny Deila’s faith in him is the biggest factor behind his commitment.
“I never think about that because I always have believe in myself,” he told Scotsman.com.
“The best way to fight criticism is to deal with it and stay strong.
“You don’t run away from it, you face it and I have a manager who really believes in my ability.”
