Ambrose, Oshaniwa Clash Again In Scotland

Nigerian defenders Efe Ambrose and Juwon Oshaniwa will be up against each other when holders Celtic face a trip to Tynecastle to play Hearts in the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals following Monday’s draw, can report.

Both players were in action in Saturday’s goalless Premiership draw at Parkhead that saw Ambrose sent off for a last minute foul.

The result took the champions Celtic to within four points of Aberdeen, who lost 2-1 at Inverness.

In the other fixtures in the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals, Inverness Caledonian Thistle host a Highland derby against Ross County in the second all-Premiership tie.

Championship side Hibernian, who knocked out Premiership leaders Aberdeen, host Dundee United, with Greenock Morton home to St Johnstone.
