Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose, rejoined his Scottish side,Celtic, at
Lennoxtown in Glasgow on Monday for the first time under the guidance
of new coach Brendan Rodgers, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 27 year old who is in the final year of his contract at club was
part of the players put through their paces by the former Liverpool
and Swansea boss.
Ambrose is expected to be included in the Hoops squad to face either a
trip to Estonian side Flora Talinn or Lincoln of Gibraltar in the Champions League second qualifying round.
Celtic have failed to reach the Champions League group stages in the
past two seasons.
Ambrose who has scored thrice for the Super Eagles in 47 appearances
has won four Scottish Premier League titles, one Scottish Cup and one League Cup title in his five years at the club.
