Fatai Amoo is happy to be back in charge of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan following his unveiling on Thursday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former U-23 Eagles assistant coach is back for his second stint in charge of the Oluyole Warlords.
Amoo replaces Gbenga Ogunbote who helped 3SC maintain their top flight status last season after returning for a second stint at the club following the departure of veteran tactician, Kadiri Ikhana.
“I am happy to be back home. Ibadan is my home and it’s great to have the opportunity of managing this great club once again,” Amoo stated following his unveiling at the club’s secretariat in Ibadan on Thursday.
“I know this club so well and hope to make it great again.”
The new coach face a tough task ahead of him in his bid to make the club a strong force in the NPFL again.
The former league champions have struggled to make an impact in the top flight in recent years.
They have barely managed to beat the drop in the last two seasons.
