Golden Eaglets coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, has predicted a tough encounter against host Chile in Tuesday's FIFA U-17 World Cup Group A tie.
The Eaglets woh defeated USA 2-0 in their first game, arrived in Vina del Mar, the host city of their match against Chile, on Sunday.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation on their official website, Amuneke said they will do everything possible to avoid defeat.
"The match against Chile will be tougher and we want to approach the match with seriousness and high sense of responsibility. We have to be focused because there will be no margin for errors against Chile on Tuesday," he said.
Amuneke also called on his players to put the game against USA behind and focus on the game against Chile.
“Once again, we want to congratulate you for a good job done on Saturday against USA but we still have a long way to go. To win the World Cup, a team must play seven matches and as such, we must not get carried away and be complacent because we beat the USA," the ex-Super Eagles star told his players.
Meanwhile, the Eaglets will have a feel of the Sausalito Stadium on Monday as mandated by the rules and regulations guiding the championship.
