–As West Brom host Hull City
It will be war between compatriots today at The Hawthorns as West Bromwich Albion with the duo of Nigerian forwards Victor Anichebe and Brown Ideye playing host to a Hull City side who will be parading another Super Eagles forward, Sone Aluko.
And it is desperate times for both teams who had been struggling from the first half of the EPL and will now be fighting for the remaining part of the season to keep their places anywhere but down the last three spots on the league table. West Brom currently sit in the 17th position on the log, just a step over the drop zone while Hull are not really better off with just a point more which places them in the 15th place and a loss for either team could see them nose-dive into the relegation waters.
Lack of adequate firepower upfront has been the bane of both sides and the three Nigerian ambassadors at West Brom and Hull City have all managed a paltry 1 goal each for their clubs during the first stanza of the league. With just 18 games to go in the second stanza, it remains to be seen if the trio would be able to help their respective clubsides by scoring the much-needed and vital goals.
