Nigerian boxer, Efetobore Apochi, has crashed out in the quarter-finals of the AIBA 2016 World Boxing Qualification Event holding in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Fighting in the men's heavyweight category, Apochi lost to Netherland's Roy Korving 3-0 on point to exit the tournament.
Apochi has now missed the chance to represent Nigeria at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
In his earlier bouts, Apochi defeated Karneyeu Siarhei from Belarus and Darren O'neill from Republic of Ireland to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Nigeria's other representative, Umar Sadiq, crashed out on Sunday after losing 3-0 to Petr Khamukov of Russia.
As it stands, Nigeria will only be represented at the boxing event of this year's Olympics by Efe Ajagba in the men's super heavyweight category.
