Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is in line to get a new two-year contract extension at the club.
According to various sources in the British media on Sunday, the club hierarchy are keen for Wenger, who guided the Gunners to the top of the table with the 2-1 win against Everton on Saturday, to extend his current deal which runs out next season by more two years.
Wins against Manchester United and Bayern Munich have given Arsenal fans renewed faith in Wenger.
The Frenchman has been assured that money is available to him if he wants to strengthen his squad during the January transfer window, the reports further hinted.
If agreement is reached, it will mean Wenger has been at Arsenal for 23 years.
