Arsenal Legend, Wright: Chamberlain Can’t Bench Iwobi

Arsenal legend Ian Wright admits that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will find it difficult to dislodge teammate and Super Eagles young forward Alex Iwobi in the Gunners' starting lineup.

Since breaking into Arsenal's first team last season, Iwobi has been a regular and has gone on to register three assists this season.

Though yet to score in the current campaign, Iwobi is still ahead of Chamberlain in the pecking order and Wright feels the former Southampton academy has to do more to break into the first team.

"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a player with an unbelievable amount of ability," Wright told BBC Radio Five Live.

"Alex Iwobi has come in and overtaken  him. What you want to see is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain get into the team and have a real go at trying to cement a place in Arsene Wenger's side.
