Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has hailed Asisat Oshoala following her goal for Liverpool Ladies in their 2-1 win against Birmingham on Wednesday.
The Super Falcons and former Rivers Angels striker scored the first goal and also provided the assist for team-mate Fara Williams as the Liverpool Ladies secured their first win of the season.
Reacting to the goal, Omeruo expressed hope that the 2014 FIFA U-20 Womens World Cup MVP will continue to score more goals. He also wished her well ahead of this year’s FIFA senior Women’s World Cup in Canada.
Omeruo wrote on his Twitter page: “Congrats love @asisato1 more goals to come. And goodluck at internationals.”
After leading the Super Falcons to their seventh AWC title last year in Nammibia, Asisat joined Liverpool Ladies from Port-Harcourt based team Rivers Angels.
She is expected to lead the Falcons attack at the Women’s World Cup later this year.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
