Babatunde Hopes To Keep Eagles Place Despite Qatar Move

By Johnny Edward:

Super Eagles midfielder Michael Babatunde has admitted there are concerns his move to Qatari could damage his hopes of keeping his place in Nigeria's squad, can report.

But the 23-year-old who only joined three-time African champions Raja Casablanca in January from Ukraine's Dnipro believes he can be part of the new revolution in the Super Eagles despite what many do not regard as progress.

"I have to be honest, I did think about the chances of the Eagles before I made the Qatar SC move. But I know I'm good enough to play for the team. It is always important to play well for your club," Babatunde told

"In life when a massive opportunity comes your way, sometimes it is not easy to turn it down."
