Nigerian forward Michael Babatunde has set a goal target of 15 goals for himself after scoring a hat-trick for his Qatari side SC Qatar who defeated Al Arabi 8-1 in a league game on Friday night, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Babatunde took his goal tally to seven goals in six league games as he bagged his first ever treble.
The 23-year-old Nigerian international opened scoring in the 16th minute and restored the lead for his side in the 24th minute before completing his hat-trick in the 32nd minute.
He told Completesportsnigeria.com from his base in Doha that his main target is to help his side regain their top flight status at the end of the campaign.
SC Qatar are currently trailing leaders Al Makhiya in the second division log, two points adrift of the table toppers.
"We have a target as a club which is to get back to the top flight division and on a personal level I want to finish the season with at least 15 goals to justify my arrival in the team," Babatunde, who starred for the Super Eagles at the 2014 World Cup.
"The hat-trick was a good one and I can only get better."
