Michael Babatunde is confident the Super Eagles will still top their African Nations Cup qualifiers Group G, and is backing them
to win all their remaining four matches.
Three time African Champions, Nigeria, host seven time winners of the competition, Egypt next Friday, in a must win game in Kaduna and the Raja Casablanca midfielder believes the hiccups in recent weeks which may have threatened their chances are behind the team.
“I'm very confident about our chances . I know we’ve had a few hiccups and there is always the occasional hiccup in a qualifying group. The team has been playing with confidence and I think we will go through from the group, winning all our games,"
Babatunde also refuses to rule out a move back to Europe where he made his name in the Ukrainian league playing for Kryvbas, Volyn and Dnipro.
"I'm playing regularly now with my team, Raja Casablanca which has been my dream. There's always a possibility of returning to Europe but I love Raja and will focus on helping them challenge for the Brotola title this season.
The 22 year old has scored twice in five games since making his debut for Raja Casablanca.
