Akwa United coach, Zachary Baraje, hopes to make history with the club by guiding them to a first Federation Cup trophy, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Promise Keepers will face Lobi Stars in the final match at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Sunday.
The former Enyimba coach told Completesportsnigeria.com that his charges are well prepared for the game and are confident of returning to Uyo with the trophy.
“We are in a position to make history by winning the Federation Cup for the first time in the history of the club and everyone is excited with this challenge,” the veteran tactician told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We know the importance of this game and we are fully ready to face Lobi.
“We expect a tough game from them, but our determination to win the trophy will see us through.”
The winners of the competition will go home with N2m, while the runners-up will earn N1m.
