Nigeria star Victor Moses has emerged as a surprise transfer target for La Liga giants, Barcelona, reports in Spain claim.
Moses has become a key member of the Blues squad following the arrival of Italian coach Antonio Conte in the summer.
The 25-year-old who spent the last three seasons on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United has thrived in a new wing-back role for the former European champions.
He was voted the man-of-the-match in Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Middlesbrough last Sunday.
According to Spanish publication Sport, Barca are monitoring the former Wigan man’s performances at Chelsea and could turn on him to solve their problematic right-back position.
Chilean defender, Aleix Vidal, has struggled to adapt to life at the Nou Camp and manager Luis Enrique have been forced to use Sergi Roberto in the position.
The publication also reports that Barca have sent scouts to watch Moses in action three times already this season.
A January move looks unlikely but Barcelona could line up a move for the Super Eagles winger next summer if he continues to impress at Chelsea.
