Basketball: Diogu Joins Jiangsu Tongxi

D'Tigers forward, Ike Diogu, has signed a two year deal with Chinese Basketball side, Jiangsu Tongxi reports.

The former Guangdong Southern Tigers player will replace Dejuan Blair at the club, it was also gathered.

Blair, a former Washington Wizard star joins Jared Cunningham in the Chinese League.

Diogu helped Guangdong Southern Tigers to the semi-finals of Chinese Basketball play-off season and was named in the All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention.

Meanwhile, D'Tigers coach, Will Voigt, also congratulated Diogu on his move.

Voigt tweeted via his Twitter handle, @coachwillvoigt: "Congrats to Ike Diogu for signing with Jiangsu Tongxi in China.  He will be replacing Dejuan Blair."

Diogu, 33, a two time Olympian previously featured for Leones in Puerto Rican league where he contributed to his team winning the Cup in 2015.
