Beijing 2015: Okagbare Fumbles In 100m Final, Fraser-Pryce Wins

Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare failed to match expectations in the100m women’s final at the IAAF World Athletic Championships here in Beijing on Monday when she finished last in the race.

The African sprint queen started with a disadvantage as she was in lane 9, but it was still a big surprise when she finished in eighth place. Lane 1 was empty.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica won the gold medal in 10.76 seconds, with in-form Dutchwoman Dafne Schippers coming in second in 10.81 seconds.

American Tori Bowie claimed bronze in 10.86 seconds.

Okagbare was sluggish out of the blocks and could not catch up with any of the other finalists as she finished in a disappointing 11.02 seconds. the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
