Quartermile barrier runner, Amaka Ogoegbunam, failed to scale the first hurdle as she crashed out of the women’s 400m hurdles event Sunday morning at the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing.
Not much was expected from the former drugs cheat who was slammed a four-year ban after cheating her way into the semi-final of the same event four years ago in Berlin at the 12th edition of the championships.
She came in last (58.16) in the final heat of he first round thereby joining fellow 400m barrier runner, Miles Ukaoma, as the first two athletes to exit the championships.Watch The Premier League Live!! with EXPRESSVPN the #1 Trusted Name in VPN
