The Nigerian Football Federation have announced the venues for next month’s Super Eagles international friendlies against Congo and Cameroun in Belgium, completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Stade Charles Tondreau, the home of former Belgian league side R.A.E.C Mons with a capacity of 13,000, will host the first game against Congo on the 8th of October while Dendeerleuw will also host the three-time Africa Cup of Nations winners’ clash against Cameroon three days later.
“Our October friendlies in Belgium on the 8th vs DR Congo venue Stade Charles Tondreau de Mons. 11th Stade Van Roy Dendeerleuw,’ the NFF revealed on Twitter on Tuesday.
These games were lined up to prepare Nigeria for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers.
Coach Sunday Oliseh recalled Vincent Enyeama, Elderson Echiejile, Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo for the friendlies in Belgium.
