NANA BONSU (Enugu Rangers)
The Ghanain goalkeeper distinguished himself in his first season in the Nigerian top flight. After arriving from Ghana Premier League side Ashanti Gold where he won the title before the start of the campaign, Nana was third choice behind the duo of Emmanuel Daniel and Itodo Akor.
Daniel's involvement with the Nigeria U-23 side afforded Bonsu to move in as Enugu Rangers second choice goalie and he later become the top choice after a string of impressive displays.
He was instrumental in the Coal City side's title success, making a number of vital saves during the course of the season.
MATTHEW ETIM (Enugu Rangers)
A consistent performer for eventual champions Enugu Rangers all through the campaign. Not even the injury he picked up during the Nigeria Professional Football League All-Stars La Liga tour could prevent him from contributing to his side's title success.
JAMIU ALIMI (KANO PILLARS)
Jamiu Alimi proved to be a decent buy for former champions Kano Pillars as he churned out a series of impressive displays for the Sai Masu Gida during the club's disappointing campaign.
His impressive showing for the club didn't go unnoticed as he has been rewarded with an invitation to the Super Eagles.
AUSTIN FESTUS (RIVERS UNITED}
The Rivers United captain demonstrated his leadership qualities by guiding his side to a second place finish in the table.
CHIDIEBERE OKOLIE (ENUGU RANGERS)
Not a regular starter for Enugu Rangers in the opening weeks of the campaign, the young defender seized his chance and contributed immensely to the Flying Antelopes' successful campaign.
CHRISTIAN MADU (ENUGU RANGERS)
The hard working midfielder worked tirelessly for his side during the course of the campaign. He was full of running and also did well in shielding the defence.
OBINNA NWOBODO (ENUGU RANGERS)
The former youth international had a perfect campaign for the Coal City side during the just concluded season. Aside from his numerous assists, he also hit the back of the net seven times for his club.
RABIU ALI (KANO PILLARS)
The veteran midfielder has defied age to continue to churn out impressive displays for the Sai Masu Gida. He scored 12 goals for Pillars, finishing as the side's top scorer.
BERNARD OVOKE (RIVERS UNITED)
The forward linked up with Rivers United from relegated Bayelsa United and proved to be a good acquisition as he scored a number of vital goals for the Pride of Rivers during the campaign.
CHISOM EGBUCHULAM (ENUGU RANGERS)
The winger cum forward scored 16 goals for Enugu Rangers to finish as the club's top scorer. He also finished as the league's second leading marksman behind Wikki Tourist s' Godwin Obaje.
GODWIN OBAJE (WIKKI TOURISTS)
Obaje contributed immensely to Wikki's near perfect campaign as his 18 goals heledp his side pick a CAF Confederation Cup ticket.
EMEKA NWABULI (WIKKI TOURISTS)
A vital member of the Wikki Tourists side that finished in third position.
KALU ORJI (ENUGU RANGERS)
Started the season slowly with Enugu Rangers but later regainec his place in the side and become an integral part of the Flying Antelopes.
DARE OJO (ENYIMBA)
Played in an unfamiliar right-back position for the Peoples Elephant and did well there despite his side's poor season.
IFEANYI IFEANYI (MFM FC)
A shining light in MFM side that escaped relegation on the final day of the season.
GODWIN AGUDA (ENUGU RANGERS)
The youngster who joined Rangers from non-league side, Christ Ambassador, at the start of the campaign scored seven times to help the Flying Antelopes win the title.
ESOSA IGBINOBA (NASARAWA UNITED)
A consistent performer for Nasarawa United. Esosa scored 12 goals for the Solid Miners.
BOBBY CLEMENT (ENUGU RANGERS)
Did well to help his side win the title despite having to battle injuries for some of the season.
