Rasheed Ready To Gun Down AEL In Cyprus Super Cup

Super Eagles prospect, Rasheed Alabi has declared his readiness to play a pivotal role to ensure Omonia Nicosia come out on a winning note, when the FA Cup winners lock horns with arch-rival AEL Limassol FC this weekend in the Cyprus Super Cup.
In a telephone chat with Complete Sports on Friday afternoon, the lanky central defender maintained that Omonia would leave no stone unturned when both clubs meet in the winner takes all encounter, adding that efforts are in top gear to scuttle Limassol’s quest to make it a double.
According to him, paramount among Omonia’s players would be to win the Super Cup after missing out on the league shield in the 2011/2012 season. He maintained that coach Neophytos Larkou has promised to dig deep into his technical book of tricks and come up with a formation aimed at checkmating Limassol’s players.
“I am looking forward to the Super Cup clash against AEL Limassol FC with much anticipation. I can’t just wait to play that game. It is going to be a payback clash for us, after Limassol piped us to the league crown last season. I want to win the Super Cup and move on to greater heights with Omonia.
