Kennedy Boboye has left his post as head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 42- year-old stated that his decision to leave the club was based on personal reasons and has nothing to do with the side’s recent poor form in the NPFL.
The Warriors have picked only one win in their last seven games in the league and now face a tough fight in their bid to escape the drop.
Boboye joined the club early in the year after guiding Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure to a fifth place finish last term.
His last game in charge of the side was Saturday’s 0-0 home draw against Akwa United.
